カボ マヨール(Hostal Cabo Mayor)

Great location, literally just in front of the busstation and close to old part. The room is small, but very comfortable and we did not need any more room. The attention from reception is great. The only negative thing was the shower. It only had hot water for a few minutes then it went from hot/cold/hot/cold every 30 seconds.

Located across from the train and bus stations, the hostal was handy for frequent day-trips. It’s a short walk to the old town where you’ll find all the interesting restaurants. My room was small, made cramped by the placement of the furniture; the bed comfortable The two co-owners, Jesus and Maria were excellent sources of tourist info. Tips: There is no 24-hour reception. Instead, you’ll get 3 keys: to the bldg, to the hostal door, and to my room. A few steps from the hostal is an Argentinian empanada shop whose products are delicious.

We reserved our rooms back in November and they said we could pay on the day of our arrival. This hostel is probably one of the best I've ever stayed in, we had two rooms, mine was classed as single but was actually more like a double, the location is perfect, right next to the bus station and within walking distance of the town centre, there's a fridge in the room along with a kettle and coffee or tea, unusual in a lot of Spanish hostels, or maybe they knew we were brits, we love out morning brew ? We found our stay so easy to book, pay and had a lovely sleep on the superb beds. The place was spotlessly clean, and so inexpensive, we paid €25 more in our last hostel the night before. We will be going back next year, thank you cabo mayor.

I stayed here for two nights. The hotel is directly opposite the bus station so extremely easy to get there from the airport, takes about 20 mins by bus for €2.90. The hostal was clean, modern, comfortable and quiet. The lady who checked me in was friendly and accomodation. The location is perfect for exploring the city and the prices are extremely reasonable. Will be my first choice for my next trip to Santander.

nueva visita al Hostal Cabo Mayor, y de nuevo inmejorable, comodo,sencillo, facil,limpio, hostal de dos estrellas que supera a hoteles de 3*....dicho esto Sergio de nuevo muy amable, y siendo mi cumpleaños durante la estancia, nos dejo una botella de cava y dos copas, en la habitacion, Gracias.....ahhh y ha realizado mejoras, ventanas con doble cristal, la cama sensacional y muy comoda, y por supuesto la situacion, frente a las estaciones de Bus y tren, y a 10-15 minutos caminando de todos sitios.-gracias y hasta pronto
