私たちは到着したばかりですが、残念ながら私たちはがっかりしています-暖かく歓迎されているというかなり限られた魅力-私たちの修道院のスイートは何も見えずに暗いです-推奨される価格と価値の比率ではありません-スイートは実際には目の前のいくつかの茂みであるステートメント「ユニークなビュー」で確認されました窓-傘を開けるには風が強すぎるため、プールには影がありません...自然の影のために植えられた木はありません-ミケリンレストランでテーブルを予約したい場合は事前に相談されませんでした次の2日間はスペースがあります-残念ながら、プールエリアは最大の失望です：プールには清掃設備、完全なゴミ箱、2列の安い3つ星のラウンジチェアがあります...周囲やリラックス感はありません-さらに、プールは私たちのスイートから上り坂を歩いて3〜5分です-私たちはバスルームで前のゲストからのものを見つけました-小さな小さなコーヒーフレドのために8ユーロ-あまりにも高価です+サービスチームとプールの女性はとてもフレンドリーです

Gorgeous setting and a very relaxing atmosphere. The spa is magnificent, with salt baths and a phenomenal swimming pool. The grounds are manicured and just go on forever, and if you catch the time while there are not too many people around, you will feel like you are in some outer reality. The monks who founded the place in the 1600s certainly knew where to hide. The rooms could use a bit of a face lift, but it is hard to criticize nice people who try very hard to make you happy. Perfect place to park yourself and enjoy all the beauty and great food of the area. Speaking of food…this not a place to eat. See my other review on the subject. If the food was better the place would be 6star!

Loved this beautiful place! Our 3 night stay here was truly wonderful. We stayed in the coziest room, #119. It was like stepping back in time, but yet completely modernized in all the important ways. The staff was excellent. Part of enjoying breakfast every morning was the friendly staff! Food was all delicious. It was also in a great location in the region. Highly recommend!

We spent three days at San Maurizio and loved every minute of it. The food and experience were terrific but the staff and their recommendations made it truly special. We did several vineyard tours, all arranged by the concierge and every one of them was terrific. A real highlight of the trip was truffle hunting with Michele, his father and their dog followed by an amazing truffled-based lunch prepared by Michele. Don't miss it if you visit - it is a real must! We cannot wait to come back!

Stayed at the hotel on a short stay with my wife. The hotel was situated amongst the vineyards on one of the highest hills in a converted monastery with views that were simply amazing. The road to the hotel was both extremally windy and a joy to drive in daylight with the senary surrounding you. The hotel met all our requirements in terms of facilities, from the pools to spa and the accommodation which included outside space to have an evening drink whilst watching the sunset go down. Food in the restaurants was excellent and the breakfast was extensive and very relaxing in the surrounding senary. What made the hotel for us though was the staff who made the stay incredibly enjoyable and a big thankyou to the reception team for their advice and recommendations. Our recommendation is to have a car if staying at the hotel as you will need this to get around and visit the local sites and to get to the hotel.

4 days are not enough to enjoy all the benefits of the Relais San Maurizio, an old monastery (1619) now transformed into an elegant, peaceful and comfortable paradise in Santo Stefano Belbo, Italy. We loved the awesome park with very old trees, an organic vegetable garden and even an inspiring yoga spot, the relais invites you to slow down and enjoy your stay to the fullest. After a welcome drink Mr Federico accompanied us to our spacious and luxurious room. Through the open doors of a romantic Romeo-and-Julietta-like terrace we breathlessly admired the peaceful Alta Langhe vineyards of the relais. Mrs Monica of Front Office invited us to go and experience the Wellness area with a Salt Cave. What an mazing experience. If Relais San Maurizio is like Paradise, their spa is heaven on earth. Come and see for yourself. Also the outdoor pool area is very inviting for a lazy afternoon in the sun or to relax and refresh after a trip in the environment. Food is hors de categorie in the Relais. A delicious breakfast is served on the terrace of the Origini Bistrot, with a rich buffet in La Capella (decorated by David Tremlett -who also decorated the beautiful Capella del Barolo in La Morra-) and an à la carte menu. Fabio, Katharina, Alberto and everybody else was very professional yet warm and concerned. We were charmed by the morning newsletter on the table that revealed some of the secrets of the hotel or the staff, or gave you a recipe of a signature dish you could order for dinner. Dining at the terrace of Guido’s (da Costigliole) is a real privilege. Monica and Andrea, Walter, Camilla, and all others welcomed us very warmly. As aperitif a Gin Tonic ( with OM Yogin produced by Monica M.herself), then a delicious “Aqua dolce salata” menu, tasty wines, the beautiful skies when the sun is setting behind the hills, this was a perfect match. As a final desert Walter showed us he vaults of the monastery: the wine cellars with over 25000 bottles, of exceptional quality we felt and saw Andrea’s passion in the collection, in the dust on every bottle that was there. Thanks to everybody, you all went the extra mile to show us and all the other guests the true spirit of hospitality. Arrivederci!

Fantastic atmosphere and a fabulous experience in gastronomie. We really liked the spa with great personal and fantastic feeling in the saltcave. Very professional massage therapist. Thank you fou a wonderful stay!

Beautiful setting. Everything was excellent from the room to the service and the food. Small but very well appointed gym. Loved the salt caves and spa. Had a great massage. It was a very relaxing stay on our way from Milan to Monte Carlo. Would love to return during truffle season!

I love this place! The grounds are so beautiful and serene. So much history and elegance. The rooms are exquisitely appointed and the staff is there for any or every thing you need. It is truly one of my favorite places in the world! And they have a pet dog that often comes by to say hello, which is an added bonus. All around, I could not have had a more pleasant stay each time I go there.
