The breathtaking natural beauty of Santorini is truly remarkable. The real beauty lies within the people and culture of the island. Our hosts George and Eleni made us feel like part of the Tsitouris family. The entire staff ( Monji, Roberet, Lucille and JJ) provided fabulous service and hospitality. George was the curator of extraordinary experiences (Catamaran trip, Beach excursions, restaurant recommendations) and ensured we enjoyed every excursion. Our family of four stayed seven nights in the TC Private Villa. It was truly heaven on earth! We look forward to our next trip to Santorini and the Tsitouris Collection Hotel.

Effortless pampered, relaxed and taken care of like family. This is not just a five-star hotel villa. This is a place that will heal your soul and bring you back to life. While everything here is first class, it is the people, the team at Tsitouras, that truly makes this the most special of places. George, Elena, Mongi and team make you feel like you are their only guests and they anticipate your every need. There is no need to stay elsewhere in Santorini but I hope enough people do so there is always room for us! We are grateful for the gift you gave us in a truly recuperative vacation.

I feel a bit bad leaving such an honest review because George and the staff were great. Please note that I only want to improve the experience of future guests. We stayed here for 5 nights. They truly made us feel special and treated us like family. If you needed anything, they would have it to you within 5-10 minutes. George helped us with scheduling transportation, massages, directions, and sooo many recommendations. Sunsets cocktails are very yummy and the breakfast was good. There was quite the spread of food! The A/C worked great inside of the room. The location was great and we felt very safe here. We had high expectations for this place. It’s a top rated, 4 star hotel here in Santorini. We have stayed at many, many places and were very disappointed with the cleanliness of our room. We were absolutely baffled that no other review mentioned this issue…. When we arrived, it was obvious that the room was not cleaned properly. I immediately noticed that the dining tables weren’t even wiped down. There was residue on it from the previous guests. The floors weren’t cleaned well, the furniture was stained and dingy, the headboard had white stuff on it (I don’t even want to know what),the bathroom mirror was dirty, and the small bottles of soap were previously used. There was long black hair in the bathrooms, on the walls, and the floor. We noticed all of this within 10 minutes of being in the suite. It made us feel uneasy. It makes you wonder if the towels and bedding were not changed/cleaned as well. The towels and robes are in desperate need of replacing. They are hard, stiff, and scratchy. Not the normal fluffy and nice towels/robes that every nice hotel has. The pillows and bed was ok. Not the most comfortable, but it was fine. There was black stuff on the walls in the shower. Not sure if it’s mold or what it is. The Wi-Fi only worked in the sitting area. The lounge chairs at the pool were stained. The pool was too cold to swim in (no heater) and there was no hot tub. My hope is that management sees this review and takes action. I only want to improve the experience of future guests!

When we researched our trip, Santorini had many mixed reviews, ranging from “don’t miss” to “hard pass.” We figured we’d do a night so we could see if the sunsets are really that great, so we booked a room in the Tsitouras Collection. A few days before we checked in, they reached out and offered us an upgrade to the Portrait Room for the night, so we took them up on the offer. Mongi greeted us at our arrival and showed us around the space, which is incredibly beautiful, and provided us a bit of history about the property (the building is one of a handful that survived an earthquake in the 1950s). As well, he gave us a good overview of the island itself and offered to help with any number of things we might want to do (including dinner reservations at Orna, which was delicious!). It doesn’t feel right to call the Portrait Room a room because it was more like a small house - very large sitting room, covered with portraits from the owner’s personal collection; two bedrooms (one on the second floor overlooking the sitting room) and two large, luxe bathrooms. Everything was immaculate and the bed was very comfortable - we slept much later than we anticipated. We only had to give about 10 minutes notice for breakfast, and it was delivered to the terrace outside the room; it was delicious, of course! We definitely enjoyed the terrace (and even tried the pool, though it was a bit cool since it was the end of the season) and yes, the sunsets really are that great. It was a beautiful, memorable evening. Our only regret is we stayed only one night - we know better now, and hope to go back and stay here again. Mongi and the rest of the staff were lovely and we couldn’t have enjoyed the night more.

Our stay at The Tsitouras Collection exceeded our expectations. From our easy pickup at the port (which is included) to being met at the road and escorted through the hotel to our suite by Mongi, We stayed in The House of Nureyev, which was lovely with its own private balcony overlooking the caldera and the sea. ( Note there are steps in the hotel but are very doable & definitely less than many other hotels further down.) An outrageous breakfast with many options was served each morning on the balcony at your choice of time plus cocktails in time for the beautiful sunset each evening. Eleni was so helpful via emails before our visit and George and Mongi once we arrived. The rest of the staff provided outstanding service. We were definitely spoiled! We were glad we stayed in Firostefani which is more peaceful and has good restaurants and it is a reasonable walk to Fira (much larger but more congested) and to Imerovigli, a nice small village in the other direction. Highly highly recommend this small, very special hotel!

It was such a wonderful & memorable experience to stay here in July 2022, during my first time on the beautiful island of Santorini!! Meeting with George and the hospitality provided by Mongi was excellent, and all staff also go out of their way to make your stay the best. Daily breakfasts enjoyed on the rooftop overlooking the Agean, was a wonderful way to start the day! Sunset cocktails on the rooftop are also a must! Additionally, the local restaurant recommendations & assistance with securing reservations, was very appreciated. You would be wise to book here if you have the pleasure of visiting Santorini🇬🇷

Truly 5 star service. Everyone on staff was so attentive to every need you could have. The views were amazing and the location was great. Cannot recommend enough.Breakfast was fresh every morning, rooms were always spotless and stocked. George and Elani made this place an oasis.

The Tsitouras hotel is beautiful, with breathtaking views, exquisite decor, lovely breakfast delivered to your balcony and warm and helpful staff from top to bottom. It ticks all the boxes. What really sets the hotel apart though is George and Eleni. They provided excellent and personalized recommendations, taking care of all the details. Truly extraordinary hospitality. Like staying with family. The perfect setting for a spectacular vacation in Santorini.

With so many stunning places to stay on such a beautiful island, thankfully I stumbled across this gem The Tsitouras Collection. A place with so much history and 5 unique suites individually furnished to the highest of standards. Luckily for us there was one room available The Porcelain Suite. I would highly recommend booking directly with Elena via their website as the service we received as mentioned in other reviews was outstanding. From the moment we were picked up at the airport in a Mercedes and whisked off to be met by George at the steps leading up to our home for 5 nights, we were made to feel like family. George’s passion and enthusiasm as he walked us around this slice of heaven as well as the chilled bottle of wine in our fridge set the scene for the rest of our stay. The picture window in our dining area over the Caldera was a pinch me moment. Breakfast each morning was a mini banquet and at a time chosen by us. Onar restaurant on our first evening booked by George was a 1 minute walk away after a complimentary cocktail on the terrace by the infinity pool to watch the sunset that Santorini is famous for. It didn’t disappoint. A semi private catamaran trip ( 12 passengers ) 3 staff was a fabulous way to see Santorini from the water while enjoying a bbq and drinks also booked via George. Mongi and all the staff including JJ were always on hand to look after us and the Seabass and Greek salad at the waterfront restaurant at Oia recommended by Mongi, was to die for!! I’ve never stayed in a place that offered such a personal touch and I’m sure I won’t again until I return which I most definitely will. Best wishes to you all. Lisa & Justine.
