Return visit with family. The hotel is well placed for the restaurant ***** which is only 15 minutes walk away. The staff are brilliant and service spot on. The rooms are ideal for a short or two week stay like we had. Pool bar is a great spot; breakfast just right and lunch snacks ideal

We’ve been to this amazing hotel many times and after missing three years we can honestly say it’s still the best. We arranged airport pickup with the hotel which I would highly recommend..Mike the driver was very friendly & Neno who took us back to the airport was also a very nice man…you can arrange taxis with the hotel during your stay. Once we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by Nicolas & George very friendly & helpful staff (George really took care of us)…our room was a pool facing room on the 2nd floor with a lovely view..the rooms have air conditioning…a safe & a fridge at no extra cost..the hotel is spotlessly clean and our room was kept immaculate by the lovely the Natalia (hope we’ve spelled this correctly). Breakfast is looked after by George & Eva ( this is a different George) they are so helpful making sure the food is topped up regularly…the food provided is very good with a choice of hot & cold food and seating area is very pleasant. Eva is on reception in the morning she is a very pleasant & helpful girl she is very good with booking restaurants/taxis etc. There are lots of lovely restaurants within easy walking distance (See separate reviews). The pool bar is looked after by the brilliant Chris he is great addition to 28 he can’t do enough for you he has a great sense of humour…the food menu at the pool bar is exceptional we tried everything which was delicious (highly recommended). We could go on & on how brilliant this hotel is which is obviously due to the owner Yannis picking his staff carefully. Well done 28 you have delivered again see you next year 🇬🇷😎

We had a great week's stay here end of August 2023. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The food and drink was all great and we loved the bar man. The hotel is in a great spot for a quiet night but also close walk to everything you need. The pool area is bliss, with the floating bean bags and little jacuzzi area. Only a couple of negatives: The sun bed mattresses were more comfortable than the one on the bed. We didn't struggle finding a sun bed but there were a couple times where other guests couldn't get a spot - some people were reserving them with towels and then going off for hours.

We had a wonderful holiday at the beautiful 28 boutique hotel in August .Great location, close to the beach, resort center, bars and restaurants and bus stop. The hotel is spotlessly clean, rooms are modern and well set out, fridge, hairdryers and great aircon. The housekeeping staff are friendly and helpful. All the staff will do their utmost to make you stay a relaxing and memorable one. They go that extra mile...booking tables at local restaurants, recommending restaurants in Fira and Oia and booking places in advance to see the fantastic sunsets. Thankyou to George and Helena on reception, who always had time to chat. A special mention to Chris the bar man, great service ,friendly advice and the best passion fruit/mango daquiris I've ever had. He's a real asset to the hotel who made or days around the pool a fun experience, with lots of banter and chat. He just wants you to relax and have a great stay. Breakfast is plentiful....yogurt, fruit, scrambled egg, bacon and omelette of the day and various pastries...served on the terrace. Lunch menu has plenty of choice. The Greek salad, Cesar salad and pizzas are fab ,beautifully presented and the price is the same as other restaurants in Kamari. We had lunch on several days as it was so relaxing around the pool area we didn't want to move. Plenty of sunbeds available in the shade or full sun, great jacuzzi and those lovely huge beanbags in the pool, you cant help but relax. we had a lovely holiday, thankyou to all the staff. we loved Santorini and Kamari, and were glad we'd decided to stay in Kamari rather than Fira/Oia as they are very busy, but easy enough to get to on the local bus 1euro 20 each. Kamari has a great choice of lovely restaurants we didn't have a bad meal. We highly recommend this hotel and will be returning.

My first solo holiday and I couldn't have found anywhere better to stay. I've stayed in Kamari three times but this was my first stay at Hotel 28 and I will definitely come back. The hotel staff are outstanding, you can tell they take pride in delivering a first class service. Eva and George on Reception were super helpful, polite, friendly and professional and nothing was too much trouble. My room was cleaned everyday and was spotless. Breakfast and snacks at the bar were delicious and George at breakfast is such a lovely character and took care of everyone. The rooms are spacious, everything good quality and condition and with everything you need. Pool and surrounding areas are kept beautifully. It is a beautiful, peaceful and relaxing place to stay. The main resort where all the restaurants are is a 5-10 minute walk and there's plenty of choice for breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner, as well as shops and supermarkets. I read an earlier review which said she wouldn't feel safe on her own walking back at night...rubbish. I felt more safe here walking alone in the dark than I do at home walking in broad daylight! Thank you to all of Hotel 28's staff for such a brilliant stay!

Such a lovely relaxing hotel. Our 3rd visit and will probably be a 4th. Staff are fantastic. George and Eva at breakfast, thank you 😊 Christopher at the pool bar is the best. Such a great barman and couldn’t do enough for everyone. He goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is happy 😊 spotless rooms and grounds. We’ll be back.

We booked our holiday in May 2022 to ensure there was availability as our last visit was in 2017. This was our third visit to the hotel and we were not disappointed. The staff are so friendly and helpful, without being pushy. The breakfast buffet is excellent. The Greek yoghurt with honey is gorgeous. Chris the bar manager is the most mischievous, funny and a true legend. Hotel 28 has truly wonderful relaxed ambience and if you're looking for a holiday that provides a calm, relaxing atmosphere, spotlessly clean and also has a sister hotel on the sea front enabling free use of the sunbeds (€10 a bed is quite a saving.) If a holiday in a fabulous location with 1st class staff is your thing then Hotel 28 is a great option.

This was our choice of hotel,after reading so many good reviews about the place, and personally wanting to stay here a few years ago,but unfortunately the pandemic got in the way of our plans until now. The hotel went above and beyond our expectations.We were greeted on arrival with a warm friendly welcome, and was escorted to our room, which was on an upper floor with a Mountain View.such a pretty scene,with lights twinkling in the dark. The room was immaculately clean,with very efficient air-con and a safe deposit box, which was included. The breakfast was varied,plenty to choose from, and the service from the staff was excellent, and nothing was too much trouble to make sure your holiday was enjoyable. The pool and pool bar was amazing,really comfortable sun beds to lounge on, and floating giant bean bags in the pool to lazily drift around on. The pool bar was looked after by the barman,the lovely Chris who was very professional and very funny in the capacity of doing such a great job. We ate at the pool bar on several occasions at lunchtime,but always shared a dish because of the large portions given,the food was so tasty.no matter what you ordered. All the staff at 28 Hotel,deserve praise and recognition for the fantastic hospitality they all showed towards us for making our holiday memorable. Thank you to everyone, We shall definitely be returning next year.

I recently stayed at hotel 28 and i want to start off by saying the the hotel cleanliness was immaculate. The staff around the hotel were so kind and welcoming whether it was during breakfast, checking in and out or when we just wanted to ask any questions we had. The food was really good. I would highly recommend!
