デシテラ リゾート(Desiterra Resort)

Stayed here from 11th July - 15th July 2023 and everything was perfect. Staff are super helpful. Rooms are clean and absolutely stunning. Having a private pool was fabulous. We hired a car which we parked in the car park on site. Hotel is located just outside Fira which is lovely as you’re away from the busy tourist areas. Cannot fault anything as everything was perfect from start to finish.

went to Greece to celebrate my husband's birthday. He died on July 20, 2022, from a bad car accident. We were planning his 60th birthday in Greece. I decided to continue with the birthday plans and took my girlfriend went with me. I got a little nervous because of some reviews I read, but those reviews are all lies. I have traveled worldwide and stayed at the world's only seven-star hotel in Dubai. Trust me. The Desiterra is an excellent hotel with a perfect location, located away from the crowd, immaculate & beautiful. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly receptionist Dora, and she made our trip more enjoyable with her advice & tips about Santorini and transportation. Everyone at the hotel was pleasant. The breakfast was terrific. I had a Greek omelet “OMG” delicious!! The prices for food and drinks are reasonable. I recommend this hotel to everybody! It's a true example of excellent hospitality. Two drivers for the shuttle were outstanding as well. They both were helpful and made sure we got to our destination. I even gave one of the drivers a big hug when he dropped me off at the Port to take the ferry to Mykonos. We were able to meet the owner Dimitri. He was so friendly, and he was celebrating his wife’s birthday. Dimitri made sure we were enjoying our stay. Thank you again, Desiterra, for making my first trip to Greece extra a memorable one. I can’t wait to return with my Circle ⭕️ of Trust girlfriends.

Excellent accommodations at this quite and welcoming hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The spa and other amenities were superb. Beautiful pool with swim up bar. Our unit had its own pool! We had an opportunity to meet the owner, who is a great host himself and very approachable. If you want to be away from crowds, this is the hotel. Fira is only 10 minutes away.

A beautiful hotel on Santorini. Quiet, clean with great accommodations. Stayed in a villa with a family of 5. Off the beaten path from Fira. On-site restaurant is great. Walking distance to fantastic beach and restaurant. Road to the hotel is an adventure, and prices are on the high end for Greece.

I'm still completing my holiday here at the Desiterra and I've already decided to write my review: almost perfect holiday, nothing to say, fantastic resort, I want to go back! Congratulations to everyone starting from Georgeos the maitre of the restaurant and his fantastic colleagues, good and nice.

We had the best time at Desiterra and the only bad thing about the experience was the fact that we had to leave. We wouldn't be doing any justice to the experience if we didn't mention Georgio... he made our experience second to none, recommended trips that suited us perfectly not just the places suggested by all the staff. Not forgetting Christina who was a ray of sunshine every day. We could list all the staff for their personalised experiences but we would be here all day. The location is out of the way to get away from the chaos but close enough to get involved when you want. The use of the driver is easy to navigate around the island but we rented a car to enable us to get about as we pleased. The accommodation was beautiful and the views incredible. We will 100% be back and recommend it to anyone looking for luxury with peace and tranquility. See you again soon Jus and James

Amazing quality & service in a location we absolutely wanted. Our Villa was immaculately clean on arrival overlooking the beautifully kept resort. We wanted somewhere quiet to relax and this was just perfect. We could chill around our own pool or use the larger pool and bar at the resort which is perfect and a few minutes walk. if you want to see other busier parts of the island the resort can arrange transport for you with one of their two amazing drivers. This isn’t walking distance to anywhere but we already knew that and it worked fine for us but something to consider if that’s important to you. We had a number of meals which were all lovely and the service was excellent. My daughters & husband used the spa facilities which were first class too. Highly recommend if you want somewhere quiet with great service.

The hotel is comprised of individual villas with bathrooms in each room, a/c in each room along with a living room, a small kitchen and an individual swimming pool with beach beds. The room service is superb, everything is cleaned daily. There's a restaurant that is open all day, breakfast is based on a fixed menu that combines vegan, diet & sweet dishes, there's a brunch style menu at lunch time & a stylish dinner menu taken care of by a super cook. The waiters & cook are very polite, helpful and fun. There are a couple of swimming pools also, with sun beds & all-day bar service with kind and polite waiters, highly recommended. There's a spa & body care centre which I haven't used There's also a small gym, which definitely should be improved with new machines and a greater assortment of weights. I've used it every day during my stay and although I could not do a full style training I used it to keep fit. On the other hand, what the gym is lacking in equipment gets compensated by a personal trainer service offered by May (as I later found out, amongst other things she's a gold medallist in rowing!) a superb, kind & motivated trainer which besides setting you up with a fitness plan, she'll also recommend nice places to visit & guide you around the island. Amazing person! I can say that I had a very pleasant stay & can highly recommend the hotel and all it's service

I loved all the staff members, Zoi and Michalis at the front desk, Kalia Hercules and Pascals at the restaurant/bar. They really made our stay the best it could have ever been. Their kindness and hospitality was off the charts, some of the best I have experienced at any resort. I especially liked how we were talked to about main attractions, restaurants and things to do in Santorini as soon as we arrived for our stay. And they were able to book everything through the resort for us- including my rental car. It was so efficient and very convenient. I also particularly like the WhatsApp front desk feature- where you can ask them a question any time via message on whats app. So convenient, and they are always online to help!!! I also really like how they have food going almost all the time- breakfast then lunch, then dinner. And room service. A 5 star sublime resort and experience for sure! Thank you again Desiterra I already want to come back!
