HouHai Hostel is a great value for short or long stays! I enjoyed it so much that I extended my original nine day stay for two additional days. The accommodating management even allowed me to have a late checkout for my late night flight since they had an open room available. The hostel is actually more of a hotel than a hostel, as all rooms are private with an inclusive bathroom. It is very clean and modern with a very friendly and helpful staff. The location is on an alley off of the main street in HouHai, which makes it more quiet and peaceful for those who want to get a good sleep away from the nightly parties in HouHai. I got up early each day and carried my SUP paddleboard from hotel storage on a short walk to the beach for lots a great surf time. If you are looking for a relaxing, clean, and friendly hotel at a great value... HouHai Hostel is the perfect choice!

In this little surfet village, every hotel is well located and max 5 min walking distance from the sea. Great location for beach, sea, surfing and nightlife! Food is nice, too!

I loved this hostel was right on the beach, easy and well known for surf rentals. The bar area is really nice to relax in! It would be cool if they showed some movies at night outside on their projector.

We booked this place for our first accommodation. For a hostel I would say the quality is actually quite good and the front desk staff are extremely friendly. The only negative is that the building is thin and you can hear noise on the street, but for the price and quality I think you can’t be harsh about it. Probably one of the nicer “hostels” I have stayed in an the comfy room (which is private) is extremely affordable.
