Tivoli Lagos

Great location, about 10 mins walk to Lagos Old Town and the Lagos Marina. Lots of nice eateries nearby. Emmanuel from the front desk was very helpful to us and showed us the way clearly, recommended some good pastry shops as well. The staff that delivered our dental kits to the room was super unfriendly though.. maybe he just doesn’t like us haha. You can actually get lost in this hotel as it was quite a maze. However the fixtures were so dated and old. The wardrobe in my room was so old it felt like it was going to collapse anytime. There was also a weird super strong chlorine smell in the room and it didn’t dissipate even after a day. Sigh, we realised it could be from the day curtains as they likely had washed it with bleach to remove stains or something.. my husband made a fuss and wanted to change rooms but the hotel seemed full house with tour groups from France, UK and more. Breakfast spread was ok, same food was served for the 2 nights that I stayed. Would be great if they can do some maintainence works such as repainting the entire building. Doors of rooms should be changed too as they were so hard to open and close - you’ll be hearing guests slamming doors to close all the time! Very strange why all of these improvisations were not done when travel was not permitted during COVID times. The hotel would be an absolute beauty otherwise.

Wie kamen auf Empfehlung in dieses große Hotel. An der Rezeption wurden wir etwas verhalten empfangen. Wir wollten lediglich unsere Koffer deponieren und es wurde uns sofort ein kostenpflichtiges Early Check In angeboten. Das Zimmer war groß und sauber. Beim Frühstück wurden wir sehr herzlich mit einen wunderschönen Lächeln empfangen. Es war sehr lecker mit reichlich Auswahl. Die Restaurants bieten sehr gutes Essen. Das weitläufige Gebäude bietet viel Gelegenheit zum verweilen, lesen, arbeiten usw. Es ist auf alle Fälle zu empfehlen.

這家酒店的位置非常便利，周邊環境優美。房間的裝修風格獨具特色。清潔程度無可挑剔，每一個細節都處理得非常好。工作人員的服務態度熱情周到，讓人有賓至如歸的感覺。早餐也非常美味，品種豐富。總的來説，這是一次非常滿意的住宿體驗。

What we like and give them a 5 star Plus is the staff. Never stop working, Cafeteria, room service, reception,bar. What we did not like is the distance from the room to main services.always taking the elevator or stairs. I'm 80 years of age, handicap,stayed 21 days at the Tivoli,where room 1137 was small and very far from the main entrance and dining room. When I asked for a better room, I was told we had an upgraded room with breakfast. Upgraded, I asked, she said you have a kettle...

We were supposedly in the main section but it was a very far walk down empty deserted halls with dim lights and very empty. The standard room area seems almost abandoned unless you are in a suite

Lovely hotel very clean and tidy staff are fantastic and very helpful. Great location very close to the Marina and beaches. Spa is a little dated but still very nice. Breakfast was amazing so much choice. Fantastic Mexican just up the road. Hotel is very close to bus station (Easy walking distance.) which we would have used if we had researched how close it was instead of the hire car. Thank you Trivoli for a fantastic weekend.

Perfect location for several golf courses in the area, but the staff and resort is absolutely fantastic. Next time we will stay a few days longer. Also a great breakfast buffet and a nice bar for a drink in the evening.

The staff were helpful and polite. The rooms were a bit tired and dated, however the bathrooms were renovated and fine. Our aircon didn’t work, no matter how many times the handyman came. It would have been nice if staff had offered to change our room.
