"Sorry, 5 star prices for 3 star accommodation. Scruffy communal area, our house was in slight disrepair, ant infestation in the house, food expensive. Boarded plank areas are fun for cycling but do not walk in bare feet as the screws could tear the soles of your feet. Perfect if you are a young family, but for us, just fraught with young kids. Not relaxing. Needs money spending on it to justify the prices to tidy it up. Plus point: lovely pools, nice staff, good breakfast."

"Lovely place to stay with family. We booked together 2 little houses and it was perfect. I went with my 6 months old baby and it had a crib for him. The mobile signal is not that good BUT the wifi was perfect. Very clean houses and kitchen well equipped. Great pool and good vibes from the staff. Great view to the beach, very relaxing. I loved it. I want to go again."

"So I’ll put to the back of my thoughts all of the burned trees… this is not the hotels fault. August… No chef , restaurant not open in the evening in a **** Hotel . Not acceptable. Pool bar not open during the day again , somethings not quite right. Lack of attention to detail, broken pool tiles , decking broken in spa, dead plant in pots . Questions need asking !"

"We were really disappointed with our first impressions of the hotel. We had saved for ages to be able to afford to take our 2 children. The air con in our room didn’t work and we were made to feel like we were asking the world to be moved. No apology, no offer of helping us move. In 30+ weather, in a room that cost £300 and with 2 young kids, working air conditioning shouldn’t be an unreasonable ask. We also had to compromise with a different type of room, again without any apology. There are some good things about the hotel. It’s beautiful, and the rooms are nice. The farm side of things is also great. The food is ok, but certainly not aligned with the price tag. The pools are nice. The gym is poor. It does feel like the hotel has lost sight of the basic elements of hospitality. It could be a great place, but for the price we paid and the experience we had, sadly we were left feeling we made the wrong decision to stay and left pretty disappointed."
