Everything we dreamed of for our first visit to Savannah. Like traveling back in time and a perfect way to live in the city’s rich history. The hostess was extremely friendly and was fun listening to stories about the house and “the ongoings” in it.

This place is pure magic!! Everything from the mattress and bedding to the incredible breakfast prepared from scratch. Chemise saw to our every need and was so sweet!! The garden in the back and the stunning room…perfection! Can’t wait to come back!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

First and foremost - the breakfasts! I will dream about Chemise's breakfasts for weeks to come. Her cooking and her knowledge and history with the building were truly highlights of out stay. It was so cool to hear from her about the ghost stories, history, and prior iterations of the house. The location is also unbeatable. So close to Forsyth, the free bus, and only a short walk to the restaurants and shopping/historic area. The inn itself had some issues, but they were almost entirely cosmetic. Things like exposed plumbing and electrical conduits detracted from the historic charm of the inn. Some wall areas were spackled but not yet painted over. But the AC was marvelous and the courtyard was gorgeously maintained.

The location, the garden, the breakfast, and the cleanliness were pleasant. The stay was a step back in time to a late 1800's Victorian home with a tastefully designed interior limited to room lights, receptacles, and running water. While quiet outside and in, the nights were genuinely fraught with dread as we regularly endured what we could only describe as a presence lurking in our room. We stayed at other places during our trip without incident, but here at AG, it quickly became apparent as night fell that we were unwelcome by the entity(s) residing or moving through our room recurring nightly around 3am. We are typically not ones to live in fear, but in this instance, protection and prayer throughout the nights were our only comfort.

We had a lovely stay. Great location in the heart of the historic district- everything is walkable! Our suite was lovely and the breakfast delicious!

Very charming inn. Our hostess was amazing and was very helpful with information and suggestions. The breakfast were delish! We would definitely plan a return visit.

For a historic house, the room was nice and the shower was updated and modern. We did not realize that the lower level was not in the house, but was a room added in the basement area. It did not have its own temperature control. The hostess was very cordial and the location was great.

I chose the Amethyst Garden Inn because they had chandeliers in every room. The house is beautiful and located in the Victorian part of town near the park. Breakfast was freshly prepared every morning and really good. Chemise accommodated menu preferences. But most of all she was kind, welcoming and met special needs. We would absolutely stay there again.

What a great stay... Chemise (hostess/chef/concierge) was amazing, the food was amazing and the stay was amazing. We booked on the website, super easy; Uber to all the hot spots with ease. Parking was simple (which is saying something for Savahna) there was room on the street and/or at the edge of their parking spaces for a full sized truck... we loved our stay!
