Very quiet in a little villsge. Breakfast buffet was really nice. Bed was very comfortable, but was two twins pushed together and made up separately. Less than ideal for an intimate couple. The Host was very accommodating and friendly.

Schwarzach am Main is exactly halfway our annual holiday destination in Carinthia and home. As we have the luxury, as retired persons, to do the homeward journey in two days, Flair Hotel Zum Benediktiner is built exactly on the right spot. Furthermore, for a small fee individual garages are offered, so we can leave all our luggage in our small car, instead of lugging bags and suitcases into the hotel and loading the lot again in the car the next morning. Moreover, Hotel Zum Benediktiner is a no nonsense hotel with friendly and polite staff, spacious and clean rooms and a good buffet breakfast. Round the corner, opposite the monastery, is their restaurant, offering good food and cold beer. However, some improvements may be made by the management. The first improvement is a check on the beds; comfort of the beds can vary. The second improvement is causing the breakfast room to be ventilated better. Ventilation is still important even post-corona, but the breakfast room is very close with all the windows and the doors being shut the whole time. But adding up, a well deserved four point rating and we'll be back next holiday.

When on holiday and looking for a hotel to break a long car journey, the big question is what to do with the luggage in plain view in our small car. A hotel with a lift and available suitcase trolleys is helpful, but hotel Zum Benediktiner have individual garages available for a low rent, thus making the trek with a load of luggage to and from the room unnecessary. This is the additional benefit of the hotel, in addition of being precisely halfway our journey. But how about the hotel itself? It is a no nonsense hotel with friendly staff, spacious rooms with a good bathroom. Fridge with mini bar is also part of the room equipment. A large parking lot is available for customers not in need of a garage. Round the corner is a nice restaurant, which is part of the hotel organization; the restaurant bill can be put on the room bill. Schwarzach is only a couple of kilometers from the A3 motorway, and a large Aral filling station half way is available to top up the tank, to be ready and prepared for the next leg of the journey. An ideal hotel for a stop over.

Our stay was very pleasant. Room was big, beds are very comfortable and the pillows worth to buy, They have also nice restaurant with good food so you can enjoy in completely service. Definitely our best decision to stay here and till next time.

Das Hotel ist deutlich in die Jahre gekommen. Mobiliar und Sanitärbereich aus den 70er Jahren. Das Frühstück eher Jugendherbergsniveau (einfachste Industrieaufbackbrötchen, einfach Teebeutel, kein Rührei u.a., etc). Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt nicht.

Es war wieder einmal ein schöner Aufenthalt bei Ihnen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, auch unseren Hunden hat es gefallen. Frühstück war super und auch das Essen im Restaurant hat uns und unseren Gästen geschmeckt. Der Service war freundlich und kompetent. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir blieben auf der Durchreise nur 1 Nacht, da auch nicht weit entfernt von der Autobahn, und waren mit der Freundlichkeit und dem Charme des Anwesens und der Mitarbeiter mehr als zufrieden. Eine familiäre Atmosphäre, obwohl das Haus nicht klein ist. Das Haus ist schon nicht mehr das Neueste, die Zimmer, insbesondere sanitär sind aber modern saniert und inkl. Kühlschrank. Frühstück nett und völlig ausreichend.

Heerlijk, schoon en sfeervol hotel. Mooie kamers, fantastische bedden en heel vriendelijk personeel. Dit hotel zou ik iedereen aanraden!

Gemütliches und freundliches Hotel in einer sehr schönen Umgebung. der berühmte Mönch Anselm Grün wohnt direkt nebenan und man kann im Kloster alle Gottesdienste besuchen. Das Hotel ist gut ausgestattet und das Personal ist sehr nett und entgegenkommend.
