オテル レ ゼスクラルジ(Hôtel les Esclargies)

與其説是酒店更像是民宿，老闆家庭運營的賓館，自己就住在不遠的房子裏，酒店很乾凈、很新，早餐不錯，各方面沒什麼毛病，check in當天不要8點以後到，不然沒人接待，畢竟不是連鎖酒店，沒有24小時前台。總體來説對於自駕很友好。

A modern hotel is set in beautiful grounds and close to the walkway and lift to Rocamadour. Room small but very clean and comfortable. Lovely pool area. My disappointment was with the older staff's attitude. Not welcoming, and the breakfast arrangements were poor. 3 staff spent all their fussing around the food table. Yep, the spoons were all pointing in the right direction but the eggs ran out in 15 minutes and no attempt was made to cook more. Meager cheese and cold meats and the cereal bowls were tiny. People were being asked to sit at the garden table when is was cold outside. We just felt we were a nuisance. If they get the breakfast right reviews will be better

This beautiful new hotel is located within walking distance from the town and sanctuary of Rocamadour, with easy parking and helpful staff.

Loved the eco awareness. Staff very friendly and helpful for english speaking. Bed very comfortable, shower very good.

It’s not often that I would pass a critical comment on a hotel that is very good in most areas but we felt with a few changes this would have been a much better experience than it was . The reception office is immediately on the left on entering the hotel but during our stay the 2 main reception staff hardly ever looked up from their computer screen to give any acknowledgment of guests so it did not feel like a welcoming environment. Similarly despite initially offering to assist us with our luggage up a flight of stairs in the absence of a lift the young female receptionist simply watched us struggling. Again hardly welcoming . The hotel actually shuts at 8.30pm with just an entry code to gain entrance after that with no emergency contact given to guests and there seemed to be no provision if any kind of problem occurred after 8.30 pm as there’s just no staff around. Finally we witnessed an exchange between some other guests and an older lady from reception who was overseeing breakfast as they wanted boiled eggs rather than the dried up luke warm scrambled eggs on offer but these were very grudgingly supplied . Not how a good hotel should behave . The shame of all this is this is what we will recall about this hotel rather than it’s lovely location & clean comfortable rooms . Just a pity .

Fantastic hotel. Very friendly reception. Big rooms. They pay attention to the small details. Breakfast was good. We had only one night in this lovely hotel but we would have loved to stay longer. No doubt we will be back in the not so distant future.

This is a wonderful place to spend a few days unwinding from the hustle/bustle of touring France. The beautiful grounds are isolated, peaceful and quiet; the staff friendly and helpful. Our ground floor room was large, clean and comfortable with direct access to a private sitting area outside. The hotel has direct access to the path for walking down into Rocamadour. Breakfast was very nice with lots of choices.

We spent three lovely nights at Les Esclargies. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were nicely appointed, very clean, comfortable and quiet. The grounds are very peaceful with trees and a big back yard. It is in great location within walking distance of several restaurants and the elevator to get to the Medieval city. I wish I spoke more French to take advantage of the relaxation sessions they offered! I highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again when we come back to the area.

Comfortable bed, clean environment and calm setting. The location is ideal for sightseeing while maintaining a private quiet atmosphere. A great walking path was close by and we didn’t need our car to explore the medieval sights or the town at the top of the valley. Breakfast was complete with lots of options. The staff were friendly and provided helpful suggestions. There was no problem parking. We enjoyed our time. Thank you.
