Our stay at Hotel Celeste was perfect for us. Rooms are clean and basic, gorgeous sea view, and terrific staff, especially Franco. We hiked the Cinque Terre, spent an afternoon Portofino, explored the charming town of Sestri Levante, spent time on the beaches.

Astonishing views on the bay from the seaside rooms, private beach with bar and restaurant available just in front of it. The location is near the cycling route and 5 minutes’ walk to old city center. Hotel staff is very friendly, well trained, and polite. But what make the location very special is the owner, Frank. Third generation family business, he starts working since he was young on the hotel with his father, starving to offer excellence in services. Present on site with from early morning until late night, he and his family are doing the best to accommodate your needs. The hotel has his own parking and is very close to rail station and 15 minutes walk from the ferrys lines to Cinque terre or Portofino We will definitively return.

Had a glorious week here. Can highly recommend hotel, resort and access to other locations. It's central to restaurants and beach, just a 5 min walk to station but still quiet to sleep. The owners couldn't be more helpful or friendly. We were B&B but we ate at hotel once. It was as good as any as they were all great. Used train for Cinque Terre, over two days as it was very hot walking and we didn't want to overdo it but it could be possible in a very long day. We also went to Portofino but the train only goes to Santa Margherita. From there it's either a walk (which we did), a bus or a ferry. We took the ferry back. We also went back to Santa Margherita for a day and then Rapallo another day which was a great surprise as we found a cable car with the best coastal view and coffee and cake on the terrace was one of the highlights of the trip! We absolutely loved the area. The resort of Sestri Levante was perfect for us as we wanted a choice of restaurants without the nightlife which would attract hen/stag parties etc and it was more of a family resort. We flew into Genoa airport which was fine going in but going back was dreadful as it's really too small and very badly designed and unable to cope with the number of flights. We booked through our local travel agent and Typically Italian and it all went very smoothly. We were independent but had a telephone number of a local point of contact if needed, which thankfully we didn't. Both booked transfers were on time and clean.

Fantastic staff, stunning view and it's own restaurant, Mapi, serving really excellent local food. A level stroll to the town centre and Bay of Silence and the station about 200 meters away. Loved staying here and can't wait to return.

Dopo tanti anni, stanco dei continui modi di fare 'anti cliente dei Bagni Giorgia ho deciso di provare I bagni Celeste. I bagni non sono grandissimi, le prime file giustamente riservate agli ospiti dell'hotel. Appena entrati ci si sente come a casa: sia il servizio spiaggia che il servizio bar gestito da ragazzi/e sempre disponibili e gentili. Sempre con il sorriso ed una parola gentile, caratteristiche queste ormai dimenticate da anni da parte di commercianti Liguri. La location è invitante e la zona bar davvero rilassante. Completa il tutto la vera perla di questa struttura: il mitico e grandissimo Paolo, l'addetto alla sicurezza e salvataggio che da anni presidia quel piccolo ma affollato pezzo di spiaggia. Anche lui, nonostante le tante ore passate sotto al sole rovente senza togliere lo sguardo dai bagnanti, non nrga mai un sorriso ed ha sempre una parola gentile per tutti.....tranne che per i milanisti 😀

Camera con balcone( bella ) rinnovata e con condizionatore silenzioso. armadio vestiti chiuso(ormai tanti hotel mettono una bacchetta esterna). Pulizia sia camera che bagno buone ( passavano pure al pomeriggio a riordinarla) Ristorante nella norma con piatti semplici ma cucinati bene e servizio al tavolo ,solo la colazione self service abbondante ( sia dolche che salato). Unico neo la spiaggia dell' hotel (x chi vuole usufruirla ) e fatta di ghiaia e sassi (peccato) Comunque in generale mi sono trovato bene anche con la reception. Hall spaziosa (in caso di brutto tempo)
