A lot of dust at the sink and bath tub. Bestfast is lack of variety.

First, the good. Check in was smooth and efficient. The young lady working the front desk, Bailey, is top notch! Very friendly, helpful, cheerful, happy to assist, overall seemed to enjoy her job. She even brought us some extra pillows when we asked. The room was clean, and I saw in the morning they scored a 95 on their health inspection. We had room 107 and I hadn't seen any of the reviews about noise until now, but our room was very quiet. Maybe we got lucky. Decent lighting, which was a surprise. Lots of storage for a budget motel. There is a laundry room with one washer and one dryer, $2 each. Breakfast was more than I expected with create your own yogurt bowls, hard boiled eggs, cereal (although they ran out of milk), oatmeal, juice, coffee, bagels, muffins, pb/jelly/cream cheese/butter. Nuts, cinnamon, brown sugar. Bananas and apples. There is no swimming pool. The advertisement of a pool was one of the reasons I booked this motel. Apparently it was demolished during the renovation. There was no hot water, so we had luke warm showers and were not happy. Upon entering the room, it was very damp and humid. It smelled musty. My thermometer showed 87% humidity in the morning after the a/c was running ALL night AND I had a fan going. The outside of my cooler was wet from condensation and our clothes smelled weird. Even my paper towels were kind of damp. The outlet in the night stand didn't charge. I did not see a bottle filler anywhere. Fine for a place to lay your head and nothing else, but not for more than $80.

This was, without question, the worst sleep experience we have ever had in a hotel. What good is convenient access if the noise level from the street is so incredibly loud that sleep is nearly impossible? Even with earplugs, the constant traffic noise was overwhelming. My husband and I stayed in Room 117, which was a room far from the highway, yet we may have gotten only two hours of sleep all night—if we were lucky. The room simply did not provide the level of comfort and rest we have come to expect from a Hilton property. We have stayed at many Hilton hotels over the years, as Hilton Honors members, which makes this experience even more disappointing. A good night’s sleep is one of the most basic expectations of any hotel stay, and unfortunately, this property fell far short of that standard. I urge Hilton Hotels to review the law of “diminishing returns” as it relates to this property.

The hwy in front of this hotel is only 25 MPH but the windows are so cheap you can even hear EV driving by like they are in your room. Trucks sound like they are in your bed.

BEDBUGS + incredibly rude and unprofessional manager = DO NOT STAY. My fiancé and I stayed two nights here, from 12/27/25-12/29/25, and it was the worst Hilton experience either of us has ever had. He woke me up at 2 in the morning to tell me he saw something crawling on the sheets, and sure enough, it was an engorged bedbug. We searched the bed and found one more on the headboard, and a shed under the mattress. He went to reception and informed them of the situation, to which the person working the front desk asked if we wanted a refund or a room change (we were in 302), and when we wanted both since we'll now have to basically fumigate our belongings, he said we'd have to talk to the manager who came in at 7:30. Okay, fine. We inspected our new room (which was a downgrade from the room we had paid for and smelled strongly of smoke) and didn't find any uninvited guests, so the next morning my fiancé met the manager at 7:30. When he approached the desk, he tried to be as quiet as possible considering the lobby was full of people and it was a sensitive topic. The manager immediately told him that he'd "been ancitipating this conversation" and after showing him the geotagged, time-stamped video of the bedbugs in our room, he said they "don't do video here because it could have been taken anywhere." ????? What? My fiancé then reiterated, at a now normal volume, what had just been said (since the manager clearly didn't have any interest in customer service or in helping us), which was that this hotel doesn't offer refunds for bedbugs found in rooms. The manager then proceeded to go off on my fiancé for "getting loud" in his lobby - mind you, he does NOT get loud with people. He simply moved from a polite whisper (considering the circumstances and presence of other guests) to a regular volume. He said fine, dropped off the keycards to check out, and walked out the door. The manager then FOLLOWED HIM OUT OF THE LOBBY into the parking lot and yelled to him that he'd never get a refund from them if he's going to "speak to him like that" in his lobby. Again, my fiancé never yelled, never threw insults, just accepted that this man was not going to help us, repeated back clearly what the manager was saying, and tried to disengage. He pointed out the manager's unprofessional behavior (I mean, what kind of customer service "professional" follows a guest out the door, especially when the guest was simply trying to get a serious, disgusting issue resolved ), at which point the manager insulted my fiancé's physical appearance and retreated back into "his lobby." We were in the middle of a cross-country move and were so shocked by this behavior that we just decided to leave and deal with Hilton directly. Unfortunately we were unable to get the name of the manager, but hopefully the dates of our stay and the time will make things line up. In case that wasn't enough, it's very, very noisy. Other reviews have mentioned it and it's definitely true, especially of

I have very, very mixed feelings about this hotel. This was my first stay at a Spark hotel, although over the last several years, I have stayed in almost every other Hilton brand of hotel. The hotel itself was obviously a different brand of hotel that was recently renovated to meet the standards required by the Spark brand. After doing some reading, I learned that that means it needs to offer a fold out table from the desk to allow it to be used for two people to eat a meal, as well as offering an in-room refrigerator. There are also standards for the breakfast offered, which this hotel exceeded. In this case, it offered four cold cereals (Oats & Honey granola, Raisin Bran, Froot Loops, and Lucky Charms), instant oatmeal packets, a vanilla yogurt dispenser, orange juice, apple juice, hard-boiled eggs, Otis Spunkmeyer muffins, bagels, bread, apples, and coffee. We were surprised that there was no pitcher of cold water in the breakfast area. The room itself was adequate. The bathroom was tiny, probably about 5' X 5', with only a toilet and bathtub. The sink was outside, in the bedroom area. (I wish there was a nightlight in the bathroom, but there was only one by the sink.) The TV was a new TV and offered the usual assortment of cable channels, as well as Netflix. The bed was very comfortable. The door for the room opens directly to the outside parking lot, rather than to an interior corridor, so this is definitely not what you would find in other Hilton brands. My biggest complaint is the noise level. The west side of the hotel is on the Great Smoky Mountains Parkway, and the north side of the hotel is on Gateway Boulevard, which is the entrance to Buc-ee's. Both roads get a lot of traffic throughout the night. The windows and walls to the room do almost nothing to suppress the noise from those roads, making getting a good night's sleep quite difficult. For that reason, although I did find the rest of the hotel adequate, I doubt I would return to this hotel.
