One of the most opulent hotels we've ever stayed at, and certainly one of the most well maintained properties. It looked new, but were told it was nearly 11 years old! While awaiting checkin, the sheer grandeur of the whole lounge area blew us away. The desk was manned by courteous staff , well trained and hospitable. The room was easily approachable, and large and airy, with excellent quality furniture and furnishings. It was well lit and with all the modern amenities like USB charging plugs, There seemed to be cottage rooms also on the grounds, tough we did not get the opportunity to see the inside of these. The view from the room balcony was that of Caucasus mountains not too distant. The dining area was large, clean and the breakfasts were of really good quality. The staff was attentive, and helpful. The grounds were beautifully laid out around ponds, fountqins and an enormous swimming pool. Do take time off to walk around. Surprisingly, the basement had a huge entertainment area , ranging from kiddie games, to billiard tables. The General manager Suleyman Mammadov , was running a 'tight ship', and was caring enough to reply to a review I'd sent on the hotel's site. Very few do.
