Excellent room with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We were also very happy to be served delicious food after a long and tiring journey — it was exactly what we needed. The mountain view from the window was absolutely stunning.

Very friendly staff, tasty food for a fair price, amazing views directly to the mountains through two HUGE windows. The room is very spacious, modern and clean. There is even a beamer to enjoy a movie.

The owner was great, she upgraded us as there was very few people. The view from the bedroom was great. The food for the dinner was very good.

Amazing views from room. The lady owner was very friendly and welcoming, ready to help us in any way. Beds were clean, towels were fresh. I did find many bugs in the room at different point in time but that is probably because of the location!

We liked this place because it is in a quieter area of the halfway point of the Tiger Leaping Gorge hike. The room has a great view of the gorge. The staff were kind and helpful.

Absolutely amazing view of tiger gorge valley. You literally wake up to the clouds. They also have an in-house restaurant and I simply love the taste of the home cooked food! You can contact the hotel to book a private hire to the hotel. We had luggage with us, so we got the car to drop us at tea horse inn and hiked to halfway point. The driver then sent the luggage to our hotel. Do this at your own discretion. Our driver was acquainted with the hotel owner therefore we felt it was safe to do so.
Also, do take time to chill at the roof top, simple setup but the view is more than enough. 😍

Great location at Middle Gorge (slightly after halfway guesthouse when hiking from Upper Gorge). Room was modern and very comfy with a great view of the mountain. There was a viewing platform on the top floor but we didn't stay long up there as it was cold. haha. Homecooked meals (Naxi style) available at a reasonable price. A great place to chill and relax after a day's hike

A much more quiet place than Halfway Guest House, which we liked, but the manager is not very egaged to take care about the guests.

Amazing view of the valley. A nicer yet quieter hotel than it's more famous neighbour, it's good to use both hotels for their great amenities.
