I recently stayed at this hotel with a breathtaking panoramic view and i must say, it was a truly memorable experience. The view from my room was so absolutely stunning.

Beautiful location, especially the tea and coffee lounge is very nice. Beds are ok, shower is nice and hot. Fine meals as well. The location alone is worth the price!

Incredible location, great restaurant and cafe/bar. Staff is super helpful and several speak good English. Was able to contact the Hotel ahead of time and they helped me plan my 2 day hike over the gorge. Thoroughly recommend

Very nice and modern café with amazing view. The restaurant is under with good food. The cabin we had is ok but the floor is not clean and no curtain (mountain side) so you will wake up early… the shared bathroom is ok but not clean and the shared toilets are worse. Friendly staff.

I have been looking forward to staying here ever since i started my 12 day china trip and it was one of the best lodging ive had. The view was amazing. The bed was heated, and got two blankets per person which makes it super cozy. The walls were thin so could hear people on the side of our room 😂 Though the bathroom was separated but it got compensated with an amazing view. The lady who was handling the check in could be friendlier though. But other than that, the staff at the restaurant was so welcoming and super helpful though they dont speak english. And they thought me a little chinese too! Thanks 😆 I would definitely book here again if i ever come here. It’s all i ever talk about with my husband ever since we got back from our trip.

Good view and inexpensive meal but when we need to close the window as outside is too noisy or there is insect, the room can get stuffy since there is no aircon

tea horse guest house is one of the main check points along the trek, and has a viewing deck (with bar) where you can get a cup of coffee and enjoy the views of the mountain. the location is superb, and is the perfect spot to stop at if you are doing a 2D1N hike. sit outside of your room and look at the stars at night. as the area is being developed to accommodate more tourist, you’d notice lots of construction going on… amenities are super basic, soap shampoo is provided in sachets and the en-suite rooms have wet toilets (open shower and toilet without partitions). food here is basic, nothing to shout about. my stir fried vegetables came swimming in oil… which i learnt is just how the people in this area cook their food. you can scribble your signature on the walls floors chairs furniture etc as a momento… but the scribbling was too overwhelming for my liking. consider this location for the heritage (being the middle point of the entire tea horse route)… and for the views. even the shared toilets have a view!

After walk the 28 bench trail it is nice to rest at the Tea horse G.H.. The views are amazing, the rooms comfortable and the restaurant serves good food.

the location is very much close to the mountain view. i love the room view so much. the facilities such as cafe and restaurant is vry clean and the surrounding was really scenic to take pictures

The view from the guesthouse is spectacular. The staff are friendly and helped make the stay enjoyable.

The positive reviews are surprising given this is genuinely one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed. The toilets for the non en-suite rooms are essentially a rudimentary public toilet that are used by passers by all day. There are no communal areas just for guests and the site is overrun by hikers stopping by for a break (which is fair enough). We could see through to the next rooms through cracks and could hear every word spoken. Yes the terrace is nice but great views are easy to come by in the gorge. As long as the walk starts at the Naxi guesthouse, you could easily do a few more miles and stay somewhere better further along the gorge.

The road to go this place is a bit rough. Not really taxi friendly but they have pickup service which is very helpful. The view is amazing and coffee is great too. Nice place to stay overnight. You can go to hiking half way and see amazing view as well. Staff is friendly and helpful 👍🏻
