According to my kids, this was the BEST stay of our entire Yunnan trip. Nestled in a peaceful valley, Ren’an Valley 270 Degree Tent Manor offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, valleys, and rolling hills that make you feel completely disconnected from the crowds. Waking up to the fresh mountain air was simply magical. The scenery changes throughout the day, from misty mornings to golden sunsets, making it a place where you can easily spend hours just sitting back, relaxing, and soaking in nature. The tent-style accommodation was spacious, comfortable, beautifully designed, and surprisingly luxurious. It gave us all the fun of a glamping experience without sacrificing comfort. The kids absolutely loved staying in a “tent”, and the wide open spaces gave them plenty of room to explore and play. It felt like an adventure while still having all the comforts of a hotel. One of the highlights was definitely the peaceful atmosphere. It was quiet, relaxing, and perfect for slowing down and spending quality family time together. We found ourselves lingering on the deck, simply admiring the scenery and enjoying the tranquility around us. The staff were warm and welcoming, and we felt well taken care of throughout our stay. Meals are available on-site, but you’ll need to place your order in advance so the team can prepare them. The property also offers various activities that can be booked. We went on a one-hour horse ride around the manor, which was a wonderful experience and a highlight for the kids. There are also small trails and slopes right beside the resort for those who enjoy a bit of exploration and light hiking. Bonus points for the resident dogs — they were a huge hit with the kids and made the stay even more memorable! 🐶💕 If you’re looking for somewhere special around Shangri-La that combines breathtaking views, a unique stay experience, and a chance to truly unwind, this is a place we’d highly recommend. Out of all the hotels we stayed in across Kunming, Dali, Shaxi, Shangri-La, and Lijiang, this was the one the kids didn’t want to leave and kept talking about long after we checked out. ❤️ It wasn’t just a hotel stay — it was an experience, and easily one of the highlights of our Yunnan trip.

This magnificent hotel is located in the heart of Shangri-La, a place where the journey itself is part of the magic. As we traveled along the village paths and across the vast plains filled with yaks and horses roaming freely, the landscape was so beautiful and peaceful that we felt as if we were entering another world. From the moment we arrived, silence, serenity, and the pure energy of nature surrounded us. The hotel manager greeted us with a warm smile, checked us in, and offered us hot local tea and a ******* cake. He then led us to the warm and beautiful room we had reserved. Everything was truly perfect: the hotel's atmosphere, the beauty of the location, and the kindness and sincerity of the entire team. When it was time to leave, we truly felt as if we were leaving a piece of our hearts there. Without a doubt, we will return to this place, and this time we will stay longer. A huge thank you to Mr. Wang, their adorable dogs, and their amazing team for this unforgettable experience.

Very nice hotel, located in a very quiet area. The nature around was amazing, the walks were very quiet and beautiful. A lot of animals roaming free and as a family we loved going mushroom hunting. The staff was also very nice and helpful.

Very beautiful and relaxing place to stay. People here welcome you the warmest and take very good care of you. The bed is very comfortable. We had a very good stay. Highly recommend if you visit Shang ri la

A beautiful and peaceful stay. Host (the boss,老板）and his colleagues were very hospitable throughout. Waking up to horses grazing, forest views, and cheerful greetings from the property’s friendly pets was truly unforgettable. If you’re looking for a more out of city experience this is definitely recommended.

Best stay in Shangri la by far. Waking up to perfect views of the greenery and the mountains. A lot of cow/horse poo around the entrance though so be careful not to step on it. I love the cute and friendly dogs in the accommodation property. Nice and friendly owners too. I will definitely be back!

I love this little place. Each room is an individual villas / rooms with its own bathroom. Standing on its own with lots of space between each villas. It feels as if we are on our own with no one next to us but the wide open skies. The property is nestled in the nature amongst the local farmers and we got to experience a milking a cow on one of the home farmers backyard. My girls 10 & 12 thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We got to bring the milk back to the property and the staff helped us to treat the milk before serving it to us for consumption. It was a shame that we are a month too early for the mushroom picking experience (Shangri-La being on a higher altitude) My girls roamed the "neighbourhood" outside the property with their walkie talkies and were just playing with the neighbours / farmers chicken , cows, lambs and horses. They had a ball. Within the property itself, there are 3 dogs who will visit you at your villa or at the reception / dining area (when food is served) at all times of the day. They are so friendly and my girls thoroughly enjoyed their company. There is also a horse on the property who roams around freely. The staff is so accommodating to our needs. The property is about 20 mins out from city centre and we can organise a driver with the property to pick us up and drop us off. We were driven by the owner of the property on multiple occasions and always just text them about 30-1 hour in advance (depending on where we are). It was nice to have that option. sometimes it's easier to have a familiar face and because we spoke mandarin, it was also nice to be able to converse with the same person . Breakfast was scrumptious in my opinion and we get an option of noodles or rice porridge and condiments to go with. You can request for dinner as well and they will ask you during the day etc. although wild mushroom hot pot (their speciality in the area) needs to be prepared one day in advance. It is a very special place and as we were leaving the owner is installing new furniture to the rooms and also a new structure for an outdoor BBQ space. This is a very special place and i think we will come back again very soon!!

Lovely beautiful little farm stay, warm and friendly people. you will get many stars in the night. 🤞 The dogs became our instant companions 😂 Tip: Bring cozy blankets for evening stargazing sessions and extra treats for your new four-legged friends! ❤️
