Highly recommend this stay at Yachajiao Manor! The room views are amazing and the room stay was very comfortable. There are nice hikes nearby and it’s a really pretty compound with the restaurant and pool. The best part is the boss (Yang Wen Kun) /caretaker of the lodge he has the best service and looks out for us making sure our needs are covered. All the arrangement and transport were very smooth and done via Wechat. The whole team were also very kind and friendly.

Most incredible stay. Delicious and fresh food, hosts that helped and made us feel at home, and rides included within tiger leaping gorge scenic area. Best views of tiger leaping gorge that we saw, with no sacrifice for amenities and comfort.

A lovely homestay with an amazing view of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. We enjoyed having tea and snacks at the outdoor balcony. The room is comfortable with heated flooring and a modern toilet with a bidet. The beds and toilet are located on the second floor so it may not be suitable for those who have problems navigating up and down a flight of narrow stairs. The staff are friendly and eager to please.

It was a very friendly hotel and a peaceful trip. The breakfast and dinner were delicious. Most of all, I really liked the clean and quiet restaurant.

What a great place this is! A perfect two night stop in between Lijiang and ShangriLa. Beautifully located in the mountains with amazing views. The houses are very clean, spacious and comfortable. The food in the restaurant is great, lots of choice despite the remote location. Our kids enjoyed the pool and we loved the jacuzzi after an intensive hike. Will definitely recommend this place to others.

I stayed here for the first night of my 3 day trek across the Tiger Leaping Gorge. This lodge was amazing, the service was incredibly helpful and made my planned trip so much more convenient. The place I booked was huge (individual building) with a courtyard, balcony and inside there was a spacious lounging area as well. There were also some aunties dancing at night which was really charming. Breakfast was a healthy set meal. Most of all I was so grateful for their service, making my planned trek a lot easier. They picked us up at the attraction ticket center, dropped us off at the start of the hike (Naxi Guesthouse) and drove our luggage to their lodge. When we checked out they also helped us with bringing our luggage to our next lodging (Tibet Guesthouse). This saved so much trouble from trying to figure out where to hold our luggage. Logistics-- They are located down the corner from Teahorse Guesthouse (where you can grab a meal) so it was our first night of the trek. Then you continue the next day on the trek path-- 1-2hrs to Halfway (guesthouse/restaurant/cafe) and then continue the rest of the journey to the end of the trek (following signs pointing to Tinas Guesthouse for general direction). 3 days was perfect to take in all the sights at a more leisurely pace.

Did a 2 day 1 night hike at Tiger Leaping Gorge and we decided to stay here on our first night although it was much more expensive compared to other accommodations in the area. Location was good as it was located slightly off the main trail so it was very quiet but still easy to find. The room was spacious and clean, although it is not uncommon to find bugs here and there especially if you leave the door/window open. The view of the mountains from the balcony was superb! There is even a bathtub in the balcony and swimming pool if you are keen. We paid for dinner which was average while the guesthouse provided a hearty breakfast which was satisfying before a hike! The owner was very helpful and offered to send us to the end of the hiking trail if we could not finish our hike in the event of bad weather. Overall highly recommended!
