I like the location it is near to Sibu Central market, food court. Easy to travel with Grab also.

Easy to grab food whether halal or non halal. Night time can walk beside canal along the rejang river. Fully recommend stay that hotel, hope hotel can offer long term discounts too. Got nice native restaurants beside the hotel can walking to local market to see a lot interesting vegetables & fruits which hardly can saw at supermarket. Purely only can see it at Sibu, Sarawak.

Good area nice food surounding..

De House Hotel is in a new good location facing waterfront with cafes and shops around, and easy 10min walk to Wisma Sanyan shopping mall, Sibu old town, Central Market & Sibu Night Market. Do note that there are no public buses in Sibu, so do walk/ Grab. Room is fairly clean with new sheets provided every 3 nights, and new towels provided everyday. However, towels & bath mats are grey and do not feel or smell very clean. If you are particular, bring your own. The aircon was dripping and left a huge puddle on the floor (under my luggage) but they changed the room for me immediately and issued me a hotel cafe drink voucher. Strong shower water pressure and firm bedding was my favourite part of the stay. Price is very reasonable and I would consider staying again. Recommended food around the area is Mami Sambal, Tea Alive, Joy food court, Yomie Yogurt, Little Penang and Outright Coffee.

Cosy place and staffs are friendly

The room is clean and with basic furnishing. The tatami twin room is much smaller than the normal twin room for same price. There is a co working space located at 1st floor with simple pantry and a water dispenser which is convenient for guest. Location is very convenient with 2 kopitiam cafe sharing the same block of the shop house. There are a few restaurants nearby serving western food, malay and chinese food. Pharmacy shop and convenient store are also next to the hotel. Walking distance (10 to 15 mins ) to Sanya shopping mall ,sibu Central market , night market and riverside temple. For continuous improvement, suggest to have bigger portions (bottle) of shower gel as only 1 small bottle was given for 4 person in a bath room. Towel is a bit old and small. Overall value for money.

The room is smelly and we saw two baby cockroches when we entered the room. The bedsheets and towel is super old to be used. I dont think I will return in future.

This is my first stay in de house. I really surprised to get such a beautiful and nice hotel with such a price in sibu. I will definitely put this as my default stay in Sibu again
