If you are looking for peace and quiet, you should not book this hotel. If you like noise, you will be fine here. There are certainly positive aspects about this hotel: large rooms, nice shower, clean, close to the beach, 45 min walk to Side on the boulevard, baklava every day, the fresh waffles and most of the staff is friendly. But the constant noise prevails and cannot be ignored: at the pool and on the (breakfast)terrace you can hear the air conditioner of the neighboring hotel humming 24/7. It is very loud (70 dB) with a screeching sound a few times a minute as if metal is being cut. Also, in the morning several garbage trucks come beeping by and the glass container is emptied with a lot of noise and shouting. Then the boom boom music at the pool is turned on at 10 am. If you sit as far away from the boxes as possible it's less annoying but then you constantly smell a sewer smell.... On the beach you also constantly hear loud music from the hotels behind it or you hear the engines of the speedboats and jet skis that are right next to the Valentine beach. Other guests also play their own music at the pool or beach and the staff unfortunately tolerates this. In our room you could also hear the boom boom music from the other hotels in the area and/or the neighbors until 23h30 and sometimes later. In short, it's impossible to have a moment of peace and quiet here. Some other small points of improvement: towels too small for the sunbeds, hardly any service at the lobby/terrace, you get water in plastic cups, only plastic cutlery at the beach bar, little choice at the lunch buffet, staff only speaks to you in German when ordering something (even at the reception the gentleman spoke incomprehensible English) and you have to pay for a safe in your room. We will not return here nor will we recommend this hotel to anyone because of the 24/7 noise pollution and I would even recommend you to book another hotel if you still can!

90% of hotel guests are German. Most of the hotel staff only speak German, English is less than communicative even at the reception. The German guests were always favored, we felt like second-class guests. In addition, there are unpleasant situations of constantly correcting us in German, you say something in English and they repeat the order in German. Even the Germans' greeting music is the same note every morning: "guten morgen guten morgen". You could get towels from 8 a.m., but most of the nice places by the pool were occupied even from 6 a.m. The food was very average, the breakfasts were great, the other meals were miserable. Everyday the same.

We spent 11 nights at the valentine hotel wich was a fab time ..everything was good A large room with a balcony comfortable bed ..shower and sink were seperated wich was easy to use ..two wardrobes and a coffee set with kettle changed everyday ..housekeeping staff were always on time Food was delicious warm with variety of choice ...breakfast buffet also rich of fruit and pancakes ..omlettes and eggs .. Snack bar menu was also a great surprise for us we found pizza burgers soups salads and dessert wich was enough for us ( our meal was served in less than 2 minutes ) bravo . Service at the lounge or on the beach bar was perfect with Abdullah a nice guy always smiling and good humor Entertainment was great at the day time all international music was played with different activities such as darts with Chacha a great lad who speaks german english and russian fluently and giving positive vibes to everyone ..evening shows were nice and pool parties every week ... Thnak you for the great time .

Stayed here for 12 days and I really enjoyed it. Good clean and spacious rooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The resort offers 2 pools outside as well as an fresh indoor pool next to a little gym. The beach is just 3 minutes walk. Fiurther it has a huge restaurant and 3 a la card restaurants.

We stayed in this hotel during the August and we had very negative experience so we are sure that we will never come back to this hotel. The rudeness and arrogance of the restoran managers was unbelievable. The way they speak with guests is worth questioning their employment status. The final rudeness was trowing us out from the restoran were we came 10 min earlier (12:20) before restoran is “officially” open at 12:30 (even we explained that in 10 min we need to leave hotel and go to the airport). We said that we want to take just some fruit and choose from the food that is already prepared (most of it was already prepared), but they didn’t allow us to eat even we regularly paid this meal as a part of all inclusive service. During the conversation, the manager’s attitude was highly disrespectful. As we had paid lunch (we arrived on the dinner), we said that in that case we should get the lunch box, but he told us that they don’t do that in this hotel, and that we can use snack bar. We went to the snack bar and saw that snack bar is closed and starts to work at 12:30 (even the lunch is what we paid). At the end we went to reception and spoke with reception manager, and that lady was very nice and tried to fix situation and explained that we have right to the lunch box and that they can prepare something for us, but that was late as our agency already came to pick us up and drive to the airport. Besides that, indoor pool was dirty that you couldn’t swim, elevators have been a few days out of service, very often door keys stop working so you have to go to the reception to get new keys while elevators are not working, sun beds are next to each other on the beach so forget on any privacy that adults hotels usually offers, the beach is shared with other regular hotel, so you will have adults only experience only in hotel, to go to the beach you need to go over the terrible smelling street, the sea is clean only in the morning hours in that area, but the beach is full of rocks, so water shoes are the must (not only on entry, in depth water also, so while you swim you can hit the rocks as water is not see through in Turkey), but for all that I was able to find some justification. However, rudeness and arrogance is something that is unacceptable in any hotel, especially in 5 star hotel for all inclusive service. If you plan to enjoy in your vacation, choose some other hotel.

The service was great, however the food and smell were awful. The food was regularly uncooked and raw, whereas the smell usually dominated the room negatively. Airco from other building was loud but not too dominating. The distance from the hotel to the beach was not too far, however you have to cross a very smelly and busy road. The distance from the hotel to the stores on the main road isn't far either but crosses a very dark, scary road. We will not be coming back but the service, especially the younger men from the restaurant, was amazing and should definitely be rewarded for their extreme hospitality. The drinks were made with a lot of passion and love :)

I went to this hotel as a solo traveller, which made the booking a little more expensive as all the room bookings are made for 2 people - which was quite annoying having to still pay the extra for a second person. First thing I would say is this is definitely a German facing hotel, which I didn't mind but I know would upset a lot of British travellers. The level of English from most staff is quite low - but I have experienced this in Turkey before so it wasn't too surprising. The hotel itself itself was very clean and my room was very spacious with a pool view from my balcony. Bed was comfortable and the air conditioning in the room was good, but could've been a bit stronger. The meals in the restaurant I found to have a good variety so there was always something for me to eat. One thing I was surprised about for a 5 star is that nobody asked about allergies. Also, the wait staff were never fast to ask me what I wanted to drink. The pool area was very nice and clean and there was lots of availability for sun beds. I used the spa and hammam facilities for an extra fee but it was well worth it. Very relaxing and felt amazing afterwards. The best part about this hotel was the animation team. They were friendly, active and wanted me to get involved in their activities - which made my solo trip a lot more fun. So a big thank you to Jason, ChaCha, Nurr & Deniz. Another small issue I thought was the hotel theme for the type of guests. This hotel felt like it is purposed more for people 18-30 years old, however a lot of the guests were much older and unengaged with the activities taking place. Personally would rate this hotel 4*. But would go back

I would never suggest that place, it's expensive 18+ hotel where mostly old people are, lobby bar isn't open 24/7, no parking in hotel area, so you can't rent nice car - no camera parking. Also food isn't the best and the entertainment is awful , Saturday evening from 11 it's already like quiet time. Room cleaning is not so good because after they cleaned the floors are dirty. THE BIGGEST PROBLEM IS THAT THIS IS 5STAR HOTEL AND THEY DONT SOEAK ENGLISH, OR RUSSIAN - BOTH ARE INTERNATIONAL LANGUAGES. THE ONLY PERSON WHO SPEAKS IS MANAGER.

So 5 star review, why!!! The management of the hotel is fantastic. No I don’t work here. My wife read a lot of reviews before picking this hotel, and booked a swim up room, there are only ten rooms that have a private pool, it is not wide but at least 30m long. This really gives a nice area to read and chill. The occupants range from English, German, Danish, Dutch, Belgium, Russian and Turkish. People were very nice and mixed well. The staff are professional and friendly. From reception to the cleaners who do a exceptional job. Buffet restaurant: the food was cooked well and catered to all pallets, they had a good selection of herbs and spices to lift the flavours if required. The pool restaurant served really nice fresh to order food from fish to Turkish pizza (pide). Again the staff and management was great. The night bar played a huge variety of music and had live music. The animation team are based here and go out their way to make the stay a bit better. Going back to the management, they are walking about regularly and pay attention to detail. The hair and nail salon was nice if a little expensive for Turkey. The Haman was clean and the staff very nice. I don’t say this often but I would revisit as it’s probably the best hotel I have visited in Turkey, the whole experience was great. I have been to better hotels around the world but nothing I have visited has given this standard of package
