Very enjoyable stay in this lovely hotel. The cream tea as part of the Devon Experience Special Offer was a disappointment though was quickly rectified

Stayed 4 nights and enjoyed every one. We look forward to being able to use the overdue Spa facilities

This was our first time staying at the Belmont Hotel, what a joy to find such a great hotel that still has good quality and service at affordable prices. My only regret is that, as we only booked for. 3 nights I wished that could have been for longer. I have provisionally booked for a.weeks stay for next year though.

Lovely hotel, fabulous location, food excellent, room with a sea view cant be faulted. Garden very tranquil . Only bad feature were a few staff members bickering with each other in front of the guests, which was a little like an episode from Fawlty Towers. Highly recommended and will visit again in the near future

Have just returned from an excellent 8 days at this lovely hotel, the whole hotel is spotlessly clean throughout there are beautiful lounges situated overlooking the sea. The restaurant is light and airy the food is excellent with a varied menu, service is attentive without being overpowering. Being situated behind the hotels putting green it is back from the road making it a ideal place to relax. It is situated well back from the promenade convenient for a stroll along to the town. The whole hotel is very professionally managed with the staff reflecting this ethos but still friendly and helpful

Booked for Sunday lunch with friends - wonderful friendly attentive staff - just loved the flower decorations - the whole experience was first class - and lunch was just amazing - we all had the beef for main and it was faultless - we will be back

Why The Belmont Hotel? A very friendly and efficiently run family Hotel. Comfortable in all respects, good food, conveniently situated for the center of Sidmouth and within reasonable travelling distance of many places of interest. Date of stay: May 2024

Following a challenging few months, a visit to this magnificent location is highly recommended. The combination of a stunning seaside location and wonderful people, result in guests feeling part of a community and belonging. The Belmont is a fantastic retreat, with outstanding staff.

Many holidays cruises etc now are aggravating, not relaxing with insufficient facilities, service, training and way too many people. Belmont is relaxing. In a nutshell. Staff, lounges, serviced breakfast - it's relaxing. You may call it old fashioned. But it's extremely good for what is now called menta; health.
