We really liked our room But the Location is not Easy to reach so we decided to be Home before sunset 6.30pm just to be safe. You could Walk with a flashlight from your Phone But the pass is rocky and there are Wooden bridges to pass. The room was lovely thow and even if only fab it was enough for the price you pay. Did not have Breakfast included since we booked with trip so can not judge That.
ATTENTION DONT GO! Do not go to this accommodation because the bed has bed bugs and the mattress has many stains and also traces of bed bug droppings. When we presented this to the manager the day after, he wanted to see proof because he did not believe the video we had made (unfortunately I can only post a screenshot on booking). The manager himself is one of the unfriendliest people I have ever seen. On the day of arrival my girlfriend wanted to have a chat about the horses they have. He just kept looking at his computer screen while she was talking and a few words came out. We wanted to leave as quickly as possible after the first night and actually get our money back since we did not want to stay there another day. We had to pay for the first night, which I was okay with (even with the bugs in bed), but he actually wanted us to pay for the other nights as well. After it was very difficult to cooperate with him, we only had to pay a booking fee of 20%. That was still 6 dollars, incomprehensible how an owner can make a problem for such a small amount of money. So all the bad reviews you read about this stay are true!

The hotel and the restaurant are quiet and the layout is super nice, moreover the restaurant is one of the best on the island and the prices are very good compared to other establishments! 😍 Everything is done to ensure that the stay goes smoothly. Managers and teams are very nice, efficient, responsive to the slightest request. The rooms are modern, well equipped and very clean! If you are a little bored, the hotel offers different activities such as tennis, pool (billiards), different board games, horse riding (yes yes, there are three magnificent horses), boat trips, visit to the island… 👍 I can only recommend this establishment. In the evening you can enjoy a magnificent sunset and the bar with delicious cocktails‚ there are also pool evenings which are extremely nice and we also loved the pizza evening because it was simply delicious! 🤤 Koh Rong Samloem is an incredible island so if you decide to go there, put down your suitcases or your backpacks at Samloem Laguna Resort without hesitation! 🤗

Booked a twin room for my son and I for 2 nights, paid up front on *********** The morning we were heading to the port to go to the island the hotel messaged me to say they would not check us in because they would not accept the proce on *********** This ruined our vacation and plunged us into a terrible situation of having to find another hotel. I now am out of pocked and need to get a refund some how. I have never been treated this way before by a hotel.

Indrik and Dalin have made us feel like family the whole time we have been here, so much so that my boyfriend and I have extended our stay! The breakfast is lovely, and the setting is amazing. I would highly recommend visiting here you will not regret it!

Would not recommend this hotel for a number of reasons. 1. The owner agreed to give us a lift to Eden pier but was very relaxed about what time we left to catch the boat..and appeared at the very last minute. We were feeling anxious about making it on time but we were reassured several times that we would get there on time. We had to wait about 45 minutes for him to appear and for us to sort the bill out. This took a while and we asked for a receipt and he said we could take a photo of the screen...not very professional... In the end, he did print the receipts out which we weren't able to thoroughly check due to the rush to make the boat. Due to the managers poor time keeping and laid back attitude, we missed the big boat and received no apology, just a 'good luck'. If he had been on time and arrived earlier so that we could sort the bill out, we would have made the boat. We felt that this was very inconsiderate as his job should be to prioritise guests rather than his own needs.. the only good thing was that he helped us on and off the boat and with our big bags 2. We were overcharged for food/drink which we did not consume and were charged for coffee which the manager informed us was free on arrival. 3. Mosquito net was broken in the room. 4. Location - The hotel is situated quite far out from other hotels and hostels and restaurants (30 minute walk). The walk back to the hotel in the evening is quite scary in the dark and unpleasant with insects and you are warned about monkeys...luckily we didn't encounter any. Private beach is also nothing special.. stay in the main hub near onederz Despite all this, we thought very highly of the male waiter from Sri Lanka who was extremely friendly, lovely and helpful.

The most appalling owner and service attitude - who is happy to SCAM your money. We arrived and checked in after a fair walk from the main pier - not a great location , our bungalow was ok but the door would not close or lock. We reported it to reception immediately, and were informed maintenance men would come and fix it. It was afternoon and two maintenance men who were both drinking beer at the bar and couldn’t speak English came with drills and tools, and couldn’t fix it. After waiting over an hour for this to be resolved the owner assured us security wasn’t a problem and our door was ok to be left unlocked and open !!!!! Carrying personal jewellery and valuables - we made the decision to check out and reception staff agreed to issue a full refund. During this time we had ordered drinks and got served the worst Aperol Spritz with flat fizz, which was a challenge to get exchanged. The owner then sent a mail via agoda that they would be charging us for the first night of our stay!!!!! A very rude, arrogant Russian owner with zero customer skills who takes money from you whilst his front of house team have promised full refunds. We have video footage of our faulty apartment door, and have lodged complaints with Agoda WARNING - DO NOT STAY HERE. Our only negative experience in 27 days of travel.
