Location is bad. Ac/Heat unit was very old . Electrical outlets left open in the rooms and u can see wires. Not good with Children .

The staff were helpful The bathroom was not clean had to clean the toilet seat Before I could use it floors were dirty Had to get a new key card every time I went out

First hotel room we were given was not cleaned. Hair still in bathroom, dirt and crumbs on TV stand and table and floor by beds, plus the TV didn't work. Advised the front desk the TV didn't work, they said someone would be sent up but never did, and after complaining the manger admitted it was not inspected and agreed that the hallway floor was not even vacuumed. Offered a upgrade. Got to that room and it still was not cleaned properly. Dust and crumbs on tv tables and stands again. I asked for a refund and they said they couldn't do it as it was prepaid. Went to get another room ready for us and it still took over 30 min and while waiting in the lobby say that the seats weren't clean and the counter where the breakfast bar is wasn't cleaned either and by then this was late afternoon, finally walked into the last room and stunk of cigarette smoke!! Manager finally agreed to a refund, but yet still waiting for word on that and not hoping for much. Absolutely the worst hotel experience I have ever had and will never go back, and will tell anyone thinking of going to Barrie to not stay at this location.

good place to stay

It is an older establishment but was adequate. Room was clean. Outside of building area dirty but may be time of year (snow thaw). Breakfast ok. Quiet.

Older building with some renovations in recent decade but tired overall. Had to ask for line. To make up the sofa bed. Room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. Front desk staff was excellent and accommodating. Took care of noise complaints quickly and other issues.

Hotel has been renovated which is nice, because it’s new but the room felt cold and not at all cozy. All flooring in room- yet under bed not clean and we found a Tylenol 3 w codeine on the side chair under the cushion. Also lots of mildew in shower for a “new shower” and the shower floor felt unstable near drain, definitely not installed properly. Bed was not comfortable but okay for one night. We asked for a room not on first floor out of safety for woman and daughter traveling but they couldn’t accommodate us. It wasn’t horrible but it didn’t leave me wanting to return. For one night it was satisfactory. Couldn’t enjoy the complimentary breakfast bc hockey tourney there and line up of kids making waffles and would have taken an hour.

Very quiet. Love how the fan stays on and gives you the white noise for sleeping. Very comfortable bed and spacious

It was better than sleeping outside in January in Barrie. For that I’m grateful. However, overall it was just okay.
