This place is highly recommended place to Stay, and on top of that and most importance is This place is really clean and absolutely the Cleaner Named Surayah, have been doing Outstanding job cleaning and make the beds. Ps : the Supermarket and foodcourt are underneath it.

Had a great stay at the village residence in hougang rooms were massive with all the amenities you need and conveniently located above a great supermarket and food Hall, we we're looked after (cleaned up after) by very friendly and welcoming maid surayah! Will definitely come back when work brings me back to this great island

No regrets staying in Village Residence Hougang. This is a place which makes us feel home for months while our house is under renovation. Housekeeping here is 3 times a week to make sure we have clean room (we have 2 young children and yet the room never seen messy before) specially thanks to Uma and Sarah. As for customer service staff, Ain and her team are always there to help. Thank you very much to all the staffs of Village Residence Hougang.

Village Hougang Residence was awesome with wonderful facilities and clean apartment to relax and sleep in. Friendly staff, Ain and efficient housekeeping service especially housekeeper Yu Rong! Highly recommended to stay if you are not looking for a place located in town area and busy hustle city. Location is slightly suburban but there is a mall directly under the apartment to cater tk all needs. Wonderful and pleasant stay indeed! Kudos to all the staff from Far East from reservation team to frontliner at the apartment to the housekeeping team!

Amazing experience, great location and services: big swimming pool, tennis court and playground. Staff also wonderful! Special mention to Surayah (everything was spotless in our unit) and the admin staff (always willing to help and very efficient). There’s a Mall with a FairPrice downstairs less than a minute walk from the Residence so really convenient😊

VRH was fully equipped and ready for our visit, stocked with amenities and even a complimentary snack was present, a nice surprise once we entered the room. Helper Surayah was kind, dedicated, hardworking and an amazing person. She keeps everything neat and clean which makes us feel good and peaceful.

Nice place...big pool, kids play area. Went with my family, my kids loved our stay. Great reception, house keeping was done as per schedule. Very comfortable beds and clean beddings. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment, we got functional kitchen, laundry and the icing is the connection of the building to the mall where we did all our grocery shopping and kids had a swell time running around the mall. Thanks to Serah, Anyi and the house keepers.

Overall stay is good and clean. H/e the poolside badly maintain, flimsy drainage and loose pool tiles

We are booked into this serviced apartment on 12 March 2022 while waiting for the keys to my apartment. Many Singaporeans didn't know there's a serviced apartment in the outskirt of Singapore! I chose this property because we could switched off the AC and open the windows as my mom has medical condition that she couldn't enjoy the luxury of cooler temperature. Second, the management is very accommodating and flexible, they permits the setting up of a medical bed in the living area. Third, there's a small mall Hougang 1 is just next door to run errands. The 2-bedroom apartment is spacious to accommodate a medical bed in the living area after rearranging the furnitures and still have space to move a wheelchair and commode around the apartment! The 2 bedrooms are very clean, neat and spacious. There is no hook behind the bathroom doors to hang clothes. Kitchen are fully equipped with microwave, pots and pans, fridge, stove etc. On the first day of check-in, we had a little problem using the microwave when clicking any of the buttons didn't work but it work fine after fee tries. A washing machine and dryer are tucked in the service yard. The staff at Village Residence Hougang are very helpful. Checking in on a Sunday was a breeze and a security staff helped with my check-in quickly before my mover arrived with my mom's medical bed. Check-in iwas completed in 5 minutes! There's a side gate to access to the main road, bus-stops and Hougang 1 instead of going to B1 car park. You'll need your apartment access card to open the gate. The side gate is on the left of the lobby, walk passed the residence multi-storey car park. Generally we are having an enjoyable stay at Village Residence Hougang. It's amazing that even with all the AC switched off, the whole apartment stays quite cooling at night. However, I wished there are more Chinese language starhub channels to choose for Chinese speaking guests. Currently, there is only one mandarin starhub channel Entertainment City 825. Today 22 Mar it was a pleasant surprise to have a male housekeeper to clean up the apartment. David is not your usual housekeeping team as he is scheduled to assist today as the main housekeeper is on home leave after 3 years since Covid. we also met Housekeeping supervisor Sarah who pops in to check if everything is alright. David is very detailed in cleaning the apartment, he cleans, vacuum and mop better than my own helper!! Even my helper is impressed! David will vacuum the corners, under the sofas, got onto his knees to vacuum the dining table and even lift up our shoes to vacuum and mop the floor!! He also vacuum with care without creating noise of banging the vacuum cleaner against the furnitures. I've highlighted to Sarah the Housekeeping supervisor if she could feedback to the management to install a hook behind the bathroom door so that there is a place to hang our clean clothes and dirty ones during shower time.
