We have recently returned from a short break in Sirmione. We had a lovely stay at Casa Scaligeri. All the positive reviews you read about this hotel, the people involved and it’s fantastic location are correct. Tanina was a brilliant front of house and her help and advice were invaluable. We very much hope to go back to Sirmione one day and will definitely look no further than Casa Scaligeri to stay. Thank you for looking after us so well.

Had a perfect stay at Casa Scaglieri. From check in to departing the owner and staff were amazing. The rooms are modern and super clean. Our rooms on the 3rd floor had somewhat blocked views out of the windows but overall they were excellent. Upon arrival we were offered dinner reservations at La Rucola 2.0 (separate review) which was also amazing. The breakfast at the hotel was awesome...full choices including eggs, pastries, coffee, juices. The location is great for exploring the area and just an 8 minute walk from the hotels parking area outside the old city.

Everything about this hotel is first class. I have never stayed in an hotel with such attention to detail. Really good breakfast taken in a lovely square. The owner was very helpful with advising us what we might like to see on Lake Garda during our stay. She even printed timetables etc out for us and we were very grateful for the wonderful restaurant recommendations she gave us. We were sorry to leave!

If you are looking for a great hotel experience in Sirmione, this is the place to stay! It's a hidden gem that punches way above their weight class. I've never had a hotel experience like this before. Our host went out of her way in helping us with restaurant and tour recommendations. The included breakfast was top notch and overwhelming in its quantity and quality. Service was very attentive and I felt like a regular even though I was only there for a few days.

We were visiting Northern Italy and so decided to go to Lake Garda to the thermal springs at SIrmione. Sirmione is a small very quaint town with a lot of Roman History. While the thermal spring's were not crowded the town had bunches of day trippers and tours. Also it has a LOT of gelato shops - more than 10 I guess. A gelato tip is do NOT buy gelato at a store where the gelato is mounded - only flat! I booked to stay at Casa Scaligieri in the town walls and I can only say it was a 6* experience. Beautifully renovated and modern with high quality accommodation; elevator and breakfast supplied across the road at an outdoor cafe. It is run by Tanina who made it a 7* experience. She was absolutely amazing; helpful and friendly and nothing was too much for her. Her restaurant recommendations at no touristic places were first rate. She also recommended the 1 hour boat tour which I highly recommend to se the town from the sea. I recommend Casa Scalagieri for a stay at Lake Garda. I would go back! It was great value. Note that parking is outside and complimentary and you are shuttled to the hotel.

From the very beginning when I booked our nights at Casa Scaligeri till we checked out, Tanina was at our service. She is absolutely wonderful and made our stay enjoyable and took care of the finest details. The entire staff including Tanina, Nicolla and Luca made us feel like family. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The area is lovely. Ciao Bella!

I’m not sure where to even start.. I truly feel sorry for other tourists who aren’t staying at Casa Scaligeri because honestly they’re missing out. Tanina is the biggest star and a true testament to the hotel and local area! With her recommendations we ate at some beautiful restaurants and we only ate genuinely fresh gelato unlike a lot of them in town! We stayed for a very special 30th trip, Tanina helped me arrange birthday balloons in the room, a private boat tour, last minute access to a sold out Terme Spa!! And so much more. We truly fell in love with this place and couldn’t recommend it more! The breakfasts were incredible, we were so full every day we didn’t need to eat again until dinner! A little bit of our hearts has been left here, so I guess we’ll just have to go back to get it! Thank you Tanina & co for quite possibly the best holiday we’ve ever had!

We stayed here for a week and had a fabulous time. The hotel has 18 modern boutique style rooms. We stayed in a superior room, which was cleaned daily to a very high standard. We had a very comfortable large bed, immaculate bedding and towels and a great walk in shower. Breakfast was at the hotel's restaurant just around the corner. The menu had a great selection and dishes were freshly served by the friendly and courteous staff . The host/manager of the hotel is called Tanina and is a true star. She helped us organise our itinerary. She recommended fine dining restaurants and places to visit. We wouldn't have enjoyed our holiday as much if it wasn't for Tanina. We highly recommend you stay here.

Tanina (Manager) was extremely welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible experience in Sermione and Lake Garda. She recommended and booked some amazing day trips/ boat trips and restaurants for us!
