I'm sure this is a very nice hotel during the busy season. However, during my recent stay, I was the only guest there. The pool was unusable, the water pressure was close to a drizzle and there were no staff members on site unless you called a cell phone. Very strange experience but not horrible. Just wanted others to know in case you travel there in late October.

Stay here was great, the hotel is very conveniently located, and the staff are great, very accommodating and understanding. We had a great stay, the street is nice and quiet and hotel is clean.

We had to seek emergency accommodation after the floods and were lucky to get a suite/room at the Somnia. Nobody had wifi so the owner couldn't tell if our booking was real or not but let us stay for longer than our booking until we could safely get off the island. The room was huge and had a dining and kitchen area too. He put his team in to emergency clean up mode as the island had flooded and there was a lot of mess and damage at the hotel at ground floor level. We had no running water or flushes but the owner and his partner were so helpful and kind when they were under immense stress and pressure. It was really sad to see the destruction. The location was great for the port, probably better than our main hotel booking (Punta) so we may book at this hotel next year.

Small complex with pool. Rooms are really small and not great in terms of being up to date . There’s no microwave or toaster it’s a grill with hob rings on the top. Not many sun loungers in the sun , so if it was packed it’s unlikely you’d get one. Air con available at an extra charge which was welcomed. Pool really clean and snack bar available too. Location was fantastic, short walk into town past many bars and restaurants. Rooms were serviced every day. Was quite expensive for what it was, but you are paying for an excellent location and I guess the pricing is down to the your operator and not the accommodation owner.

My tour operator did not pass on my request for a ground floor room but this was sorted the following morning Everyone was very helpful and I got a lovely ground floor room. I have mobility problems and this is one of the best places I've stayed in, all the staff and owners were lovely, hot water, easy to access shower and excellent wi fi. Thank you everyone .

Currently sat at the Somnia awaiting a taxi to the airport. This hotel was great from start to finish. When we arrived there was a mix up with the room ( our fault) Kiki, Andreas and Kostas sorted the situation out which we were very grateful for. The room was cleaned every day, the staff were very helpful and the hotel is in a great location. Hope to come back next year. Thank you to all of the staff for making our stay so wonderful. Hope to see you next year

This place Well where do I start. Owners very rude and unhelpful Rooms very small and claustrophobic. Sunbeds round the pool very uncomfortable. Very bad drains smell. There are much better places in skiathos to stay.

Swift check in and showed to our room. The room was absolutely boiling hot. We put the aircon on immediately which proved to be next door to useless. It was on 17 and should have been cold. It wasn't. We couldn't leave it on whilst we were out as we were only given 1 key. We had hardly any sleep at all in our week there as the room was too hot. The bed was a double bed but a small one. We are normal size adults and quite frankly struggled with sleeping in it. We even top and tailed !!! We've been to Skiathos loads of times and decided to stay in town on this occasion for a change. We loved it but not the hotel. Worse room we've ever stayed in.
