ホテル ランデブー(Hotel Rendezvous - Skipton - N Yorkshire)

It was a spacious room, nice and comfortable mattress. Although it is next to the main road, it was quiet at night. Lovely view to the back, they call it river view. It is a cannel where had a lot of ducks, geese and swan swimming up and down. A good place to stay.

Very tired hotel Lounge was like walking in to a old folks home Similarity is unbelievable Henry the hoover in the restaurant on full display. Blinds dilapidated in the conservatory Very tired all round The room was dirty. Curtains off the hook Quality of room beverages the lowest possible. Toilet rolls terrible and the soaps issued even worse. Dirt in thr bathroom as pictures show. The pictures on the site look lavish but it’s nothing like this. Bed head was dirty and damaged too. And food. Fish from Iceland frozen food. I had a dal curry Plenty of turmeric nothing else very bland. But the green veg Thai curry was exceptional. Give credit where due. So overall. Very disappointed. Nothing like thr brochure. As they say in 4 in a bed tv program Will you come back. Definitely not . When it’s gutted and refurbished the sooner the better I’ll consider it This was a reward night so thank goodness I didn’t have to pay full price Never again

We enjoyed our stay at the rendezvous and had stunning views over the canal and beyond. Breakfast on the whole was good. The staff were excellent. Wi-Fi was lacking to say the least. Free electric car charging was a bonus. Lovely walk along the tow path into skipton.

Lovely looking hotel from outside and reception is pleasant but when we opened the door to our room we thought we were in a room that they kept the furniture that was ready to be thrown out - dated, chipped, scratched furniture- cracked mirror- unbelievably dated bathroom. Bed was very hard and uncomfortable. It had a skylight for a window and when it rained during the night, kept us awake! To be honest I cannot believe that they are not embarrassed at offering it as a room in a hotel and I know it would definitely not be on any of their websites! Spa area, warm but again in desperate need of a revamp. The lady who is on reception of the spa was really nice and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and we ate in hotel one evening which was nice and value for money. The view from the conservatory whist dining was pleasant. All the staff were friendly.

We have stayed here lots of times, we love the location. The food and how clean every thing always is. Breakfast is amazing and we really like the pool. So yes it offers every thing you need.

A nice hotel it’s sort of slightly faded modernish built. Room was ok. Gym and leisure was good. The service in the restaurant could be a little more polite and polished. I heard customers told at breakfast ‘they were 5 mins late’ ‘they had to sit where they were yesterday’. I asked for coffee and was told ‘you have some don’t you’ yeah that was finished and to be fair then replaced politely

Have stayed at this hotel a few times. And overall it's OK! Most of the staff are very pleasant, breakfast was very nice. The rooms are a bit tired, we were on floor 4 (401) the room was very warm. We had to have the fan on all night, as well as the window open. It was still impossible to sleep.
