スコペロス ビレッジ ホテル(Skopelos Village Hotel)

We had 12 nights here as a family of 4 (two young girls) and had a fantastic time. The hotel is very relaxed and the staff are attentive without being obtrusive. We enjoyed the Mama Mia night and ate at the hotel a couple of nights where the food was great. I think the location is perfect being outside the main centre of Skopelos but just a short walk along the waters edge. We hired a car for the duration and explored all the beaches and areas of interest. This is a must if you want to explore everything this amazing island has to offer. We really enjoyed our stay, so much so that we have booked to go again.

Lovely hotel by the sea about 10 minutes walk from the main town and harbour. Very friendly and helpful staff, our room had a sea view and was cleaned every day. Good variety of breakfasts. Monday is Mamma Mia night. Also the bar/restaurant was a great place to relax in the evening.

Basic. Great camera lens!! Not good value for the price we paid. The bathroom was nice with fresh toiletries each day. Room very poor. No nice touches at all. Quite a walk from the port with a great selection of restaurants otherwise get ripped off on the nearby couple on offer.

The hotel is perfectly positioned next to the sea and just a short walk from the town. It is made up of several individual buildings close to two swimming pools. The area around the pools is relatively small leading to a shortage of available sun loungers at any busy times. Our room was a Sea view room on the first floor (there are only ground and first floor rooms) - and what a view! - of the whole bay. Those who have a ground floor room, particularly towards the rear of the grounds will enjoy a more restricted view. Ground floor rooms have a small patio but this will be overlooked by anyone using the paths. Breakfast options included cold and hot options, the hot options usually including fired and scambled eggs with two other items rotated every two or three days. Whilst not as huge a choice as some buffets it was certainly adequate and regularly replenished. During the day snacks were were available from the kitchen restaurant and the ones we tried were excellent. All the staff we met were friendly and endlessly cheerful even though they worked long hours. I would highly recommend this hotel for its service and position.

Breakfast extremely limited, also ran out of bacon and jam as did not replenish supplies as end of season. Uncovered breakfast bread, cake with flies. regularly landng on them £45 for my daughter to pay for prosecco and chese plate as a suprise on our arrival Restaurant menu and prices Pool cold Dolphin Travel and communications Pickup regularly at 6.45 am throughout the season to catch ferry then planes home in Skiathos. Tips Go into town for breakfast Find the large supermarket not far from the centre has everything you may require unlike the one on the sea front. Find the Kochylis Bakery and Patisserie excellent coffee, cake, sandwiches etc Read my other TA reviews before booking trips etc Be Aware Jet2 contract to Dolphin Travel in Skopelos so no Jet2 representatives in Skopelos. Potential for transfers from and to Skiathos to be delayed for bad weather as ferries cancelled. Then being put up in a random hotel on the outward and inward journey, left stranded to your own devises with EXTREMELY poor communication. As we were with Jet2 on the outward journey, when we lost a days holiday waiting for a ferry in Skiathos and put up in a 3 star studio apartment in Skiathos, not what we paid for was 4 star. Nb When stranded in Skiathos I asked the manager of the hotel for tips on restaurants, supermarket, location etc, he replied check TripAdvisor!

The most beautiful hotel with so much character and charm. Staff are very friendly and welcoming and the rooms are lovely. Enjoyed the Sea View room at the front of the resort. Pool areas fabulous and bar great for relaxing. We are so happy we stayed here.

The hotel is perfectly nice, the breakfasts are not fantastic but great, the rooms are OK and the walk into town is just 10 min away, there are 2 pools with sunbed around each.....what can go wrong? The Sunbeds around each pool - You have to go to this hotel prepared to fight like you have never done before for a sunbed. Second day in I actually complained to both Jet2 and the hotel management. The hotel said there was nothing it could do, the Jet2 rep told me I needed to get up earlier and bag a bed with my towel!!! The hotel has over 30 rooms with at least 2 people in each room so about 60+ guests. After 2 days not being able to get a sunbed I went round both pools and counted exactly how many sunbeds there were. 15 around pool A and 15 around pool B so exactly 30 total. There were some deckchairs about as well but no one lasted more than 30 min in one and lets face it you dont go on holiday in 2023 to sit in a deckchair.!!! There were literally towels on sunbeds by 7.00am I even caught some people putting towels down late the night before!! By the 3rd day our party were setting alarms for 7am to bag sunbeds for the day otherwise you have to go down to the local beach and pay extra. The whole situation could have been avoided if the hotel had enough sunbeds to go around for all their guests but the manager was not interested when I confronted him. Jet2 rep said she had asked the hotel to put up a notice asking people to be "considerate" yeah right!! Nice hotel but get ready to fight for that sunbed!!!

Stayed at this hotel as part of an Island Hopping Experience with Olympic Holidays. Its absolutely beautiful, set right on the seafront. Its a walk along the front to the harbour which makes it excellent if you want a quiet place to stay. The hotel staff are brilliant & nothing is too much trouble. Would definitely stay here again. The rooms are outstanding, definitely have a Seaview.

Second visit here. Had a room by the pool - nothing wrong with it but could do with a bit of freshening up. Had a junior suite last year which was much nicer, but obviously more expensive. Had a fridge and sink but only a couple of spoons, cups, glasses. It’s not self catering but would have been good to have some plates and cutlery for snacks. Breakfast excellent and lots of choice - could do with more than one toaster though. Cleaners friendly, thorough and do a great job. I laughed when I read a review about towels being rough …. But they really are🫤 All staff nice and helpful. Superb view for breakfast, excellent location. Wouldn’t have any concerns about going back but think it’s probably a bit over priced now in comparison to other places and rooms being dated.
