The entrance looked fairly impressive but it ended there. The bedroom was spacious but dark and gloomy. You couldn’t see into the wardrobe. The bathroom basin didn’t hold water and wasn’t dealt with. Useless asking reception for anything. Husband had to boil water to have a shave. The bath was too high to step into easily to have a shower. I asked reception for a bath mat to save slipping but this never appeared. Hardly any of the staff had a smile except one waiter. The food was cold and certainly not 5*. I asked at reception the night before leaving the next day if we could have a wake up call at 6 am. This never happened. Very disappointed with this hotel and would never stay again.

The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. It's a nice hotel to stay. However, there are few issues to work on it as I believe. There has been no AC and fan in the room. I found it difficult with the room temperature.The cleaner doesn't clean deeply. In a 5 star hotel, this should be expected. The shower was leaking. There has been no exhaust in the bathroom. Otherwise, good food, easy to connect to Split and going around. The massage therapist Martina was fantastic. She's professional, experienced and knows her job properly. The staff in the wellbeing were also very good. The staff in the kitchen, waiters including Zoran, Daniel and others were all helpful. The reception staff are amazing.!!! I wish all the best for future.

I really really do not understand some of the lower star reviews on here! They are completely different to our experience. We are currently staying at President Solin Hotel and it really is wonderful in every way!! The hotel interior is luxurious, clean, elegant and the rooms are very large and spotlessly clean. The restaurant and dining areas are again, super clean and bright with many different tables to choose from. The pool areas are also spotlessly clean with plenty of choice as to where to sit. Breakfast is a huge spread that would cater for anyone with both hot and cold choices and also fruits, yoghurt, waffles, bread, croissants etc. It is incredibly plentiful. The thing that really makes this hotel however are the staff. They are EXCEPTIONAL in every way - particularly the reception staff who are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Top tip if you are lucky enough to visit here: download the BOLT app for taxis ( like Uber) as their prices are probably a third of other taxi firms, especially if you go onto Split ( 10 Euros instead of 30!!) We would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful hotel and its wonderful staff 😀 Well done President Solin Hotel!!

Luxury Stay in Split area As this beautiful property is only a short ride away from Split located in a beautiful and history adjacent village Lobby Rooms and terraces were all great i wish we could have stayed longer in this excelente classic luxury style hotel

Stayed 2 nights here at the President Hotel. The hotel is located in Solin, about 15 mins drive from Split. The hotel architecture is a low rise, with huge classic styled rooms which are more spacious than any hotels in the city centre. It comes with a balcony, and lots of spaces within the room so you will not feel clausetrophobic, and plenty of space to put your luggage. The design is slightly dated but very comfortable indeed. There are 2 outdoor pools and an indoor heated pool with powerful jacuzzi. At the surrounding, there is a river runs next to the hotel, and a church with huge lawn compound where you can take a stroll in the evening. It is a pretty sight. Convenient stores and supermarkets are nearby and this is another plus point for the hotel. There are buses to the City Centre of Split if you opt for alternative commuting other than Uber or that sort. Breakfast spread is ok and typical. Nothing too spectacular but it is adequate. In short, it is quite a comfortable stay.

Very clean, spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, comfy beds and pillows. We found the staff to be helpful and friendly, especially the waiters. Food was good, especially the risottos. Breakfast excellent, huge choice, lovely fruit. Nice pools and sauna. Good location for exploring Split, Salona and Troghir.

Lovely large room, friendly helpful staff. Great choice of food. Lots of facilities and excellent deep massage in the spa. Lots of things to see in Solin and bus easy to get and very cheap to Split and other sites.

Beautiful building with pools and spa. Lunch and dinner served at table but breakfast is usual buffet with food left to cool and dry up. Free bar is great when bar staff can be found, especially if you prefer warm beer and flat tonic in your gin. The complimentary wine served with meals is an acquired taste. A nice touch though was a bottle of wine delivered for our anniversary.

A lovely hotel with friendly staff. Due to flight delays we arrived late and staff were very helpful. Fantastic breakfast! A very enjoyable stay. The evening meal was excellent too. Clean room and comfy beds.
