Lovely room and a perfect location, with a balcony onto the Main Street. Very flexible and helpful owner, lots of local knowledge!

Had a great stay at Dolce Vita B&B from the 14th to 17th of May (despite the weather) the owner and the owners cousin went above and beyond offering us information on trips, where to eat and any other information we required. The location was perfect, right in the centre of Sorrento but had adequate sound proofing to filter out sound. Room was cleaned daily with plenty of towels provided. Just a note for anyone with mobility problems, it is likely they would find accessing this property difficult due to the amount of stairs and no lift (that I could see). However this posed no issue for us! Would highly recommend and definitely return (with the hope of better weather)

Dolcevita B&B is the perfect location for a hassle free holiday. Situated on a vibrant street in Sorrento but not noisy at night. Everything is near, bus, train station and the marina. Host is very very friendly and helpful He goes out of his way to make everything go smoothly. Easy to visit Pompei, Naples, Amalfi, Positano, Ravello and Capri. Our room was always clean with change of daily linen. Cant name anything which was negative. All was perfect and definitely recommend this guesthouse. Thanks Ettore for the amazing holiday in Sorrento.

TL/DR: There’s nothing good about this accomodation except the location. And even that wouldn’t bring it to 1 star. Not recommend We had booked a room overlooking the street but instead got a dark dingy smelly room at the back. He tried to sell it as he did me a favour downgrading the room Bed was rock hard, so sleeping was impossible. You can hear every sound from the corridor and neighbours and around 8:15am there’s the weirdest bell that goes off. No chance to sleep in. The hair dryer in the bathroom was the most useless I’ve ever encountered anywhere. Completely pointless having it at all. There is a small kettle but only cheap green tea was available to drink. The so-called safe is a small lockable, portable tin. A joke. The person greeting us was the most patronising person I’ve met; he gave us a 20min lecture, instructions in how to use a key, made me repeat which key was which and demonstrate to him I knew how to use a key, told I weren’t allowed to eat anything in when in the room, being told to not slam the door, not to use WhatsApp we had chatted on earlier to communicate with the owner - he’s too important. When the cleaner had been they left the balcony door wide open. Not safe for our things at all. The room smelled bad, stale and musty. The bathroom was even worse. On the plus side, the location is excellent.

Prime location in the heart of Sorrento. Entertaining and helpful manager. Quite quiet despite being on main road. Clean and cozy. Only suggestion would be to have a coffee maker and new pillows.

We had a great experience. The room was clean, in a great location, the host was very prompt and helpful.

Excelente lugar y perfecta ubicación en Sorrento. Ettore muy amable y profesional. Solo que hay cuatro escaleras desde la calle hasta el B&NoB, para las personas con movilidad reducida, son un problema.

El lugar tiene una ubicacion privilegiada, en pleno centro de Sorrento, muy cerca de la estacion de trenes y buses, a un paso de la playa, y en medio de la zona comercial. Sin embargo tranquilo, muy limpio, y con el recibimiento calido de Ettore, con su ayuda amigable otrogando todos los tips necesarios para una formidable estadia en la costa amalfitana!!. Sin lugar a dudas volveré aqui nuevamente, y se los recomendare a mis amigos. Gracias Ettore por tu amabilidad y ayuda!
