I had a fantastic experience staying at hotel Sousse palace! from the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, the room was clean, conformable, and beautiful maintained.

When we arrived, the hotel looked nice from the outside — but that’s where the good impression ended. From the moment we walked in, we were hit with a strong smell of cigarettes in the lobby. The reception area was poorly attended; we were handed our key with no explanation about the facilities, restaurant, or spa — we had to find everything ourselves. We booked this holiday through LoveHolidays, expecting a 5-star experience. Instead, we were given a room with a wall view instead of the promised city view. The moment we entered the room, we noticed a terrible smell. Turning on the lights only made it worse — the room was filthy. Dust everywhere, towels stained yellow and brown, mold in the bathroom, bedding full of holes, and hair all over the floor, bed, and bathroom. The carpet and furniture were covered in dust, and the mirrors looked like they’d been cleaned with a dirty mop. We complained immediately. The staff claimed to have “cleaned” the room, but nothing changed. On the third day, they offered us a different room — which somehow was even dirtier than the first. The restaurant was another disaster. Tables were sticky and filthy, and there was a constant shortage of plates and cutlery. Finding a fork or spoon felt like a challenge. The restaurant manager seemed uninterested and did nothing to improve the situation. The bar service was equally frustrating — often no one was there for 10, 15, even 30 minutes. Most of the time we gave up waiting just to get a simple drink. As for the spa, the indoor pool water was freezing cold, and the “hot tub” was about 15 degrees with most of the jets not working. When we asked staff why, the answer was simply “I don’t know.” Completely unacceptable for a place claiming to be a luxury spa. The area around the hotel felt unsafe — many abandoned buildings with men hanging around trying to approach tourists. We did not feel comfortable walking outside. The beach was the only decent part, but even that was poorly maintained. The mattresses were torn, with sponge sticking out, and the area looked like it hadn’t been cleaned properly in ages. The food overall was below average, nowhere near 5-star quality, and the à la carte option was a complete joke. In summary: This was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we’ve ever had. The condition of the rooms, poor hygiene, lack of service, and unsafe surroundings make this hotel completely unsuitable for the 5-star rating it advertises. We are making a formal complaint with LoveHolidays, as this hotel should not be listed as a luxury property. Avoid if you expect anything close to a true 5-star experience.

This hotel, sold as a 5-star all inclusive, is a complete misrepresentation. The experience was extremely frustrating and far below any acceptable standard. • Rooms are small and poorly maintained, with the shower providing only cold water and very low pressure in the mornings. • Wi-Fi is extremely weak, almost unusable. • Drinks are served warm, no ice available, glasses often dirty, and sometimes even missing. • In the restaurant, tables are constantly dirty and guests are told to collect their own cutlery. • Staff are often rude. One bartender even told my husband to fetch his own glasses and refused to serve water in a plastic cup. • Buffet food is poorly labelled or not labelled at all – a serious health hazard. One of my friends, who is allergic to seafood, almost ate a pizza with shrimp hidden in it. • Smoking is allowed indoors, leaving a terrible smell everywhere. • Beach is dirty, and the whirlpool was covered in grime. • Spa/hammam package was a scam – women in our party received only 2 minutes of massage. • Communal bathrooms often have no toilet paper, and when available, it’s of very poor quality. • Guests are asked to pay a deposit for beach towels, which is absurd for an all-inclusive hotel. In summary: this is not a 5-star hotel, not even close. At best, it’s a poorly managed 3-star. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Save your money and avoid this hotel.

Hotel and staff amazing, very pleasant and eager to please. Entertainment during the day and night is good, and Mejdi very enthusiastic to get everyone involved, but needs a bigger budget for a kids club and for more acts to come in. Restaurant staff very attentive and Wassim always went the extra mile to provide excellent service and ensure our table was set with wine every night Security on the beach amazing, sunbeds always available and it felt very safe

The rooms were pretty cozy. The staff are really sweet and friendly. WiFi was poor, but the beachfront helps you unwind. Plenty of option with food.

Stayed here from the 26th of October to the 2nd of November, the hotel is brilliant, all the staff are friendly and entertainment was brilliant had a laugh every night. Food was pretty decent aswell with a great selection of food this is highly recommended trip.
