The room was not dirty, but definitely could've used a bit more TLC. The floors were sticky, there are no curtains, so the security lights shine brightly through the gaps and holes in the blinds. And if you have the misfortune to get a room right by the lobby, you'll hear the security door slam every time someone goes in and out. All that makes you want to wish you slept in your car. There was no one at the front desk to address concerns. Also, plan on bringing a coffee maker or buy it nearby. It wasn't ready by the time we left after 7:00 am. No other breakfast items available at the hotel. Overall, not a pleasant experience, especially for the price paid. We left more tired than when we arrived. I would

The property was brandy new in most respects and security was key cards at every door. Somewhat impersonal and very much extended stay with dogs and families in the hallway. RT95 noise was contestant but I had no prob with it. Fast food choices were ok.

I received excellent, top notch service from Asia at check-in. She was pleasant and efficient and I would definitely stay again!!! I will highly recommend to others as well.

Overall was a great stay, rooms were clean, appliances functional, staff was easy to work with. Only complaint is the 1 device for wifi acess, and inability to complete the purchase for more devices. It is an extended stay hotel, which i wouldnt have necessarily booked had i known, but still dont regret it. Location was great right next to bass pro and lots of easy acess for food options.

The floor was very dirty. Found hair on the bed and pineapple in the heating/ac unit. No soap to even wash our hands and only 2 bath towels in the room. I went to the front desk to ask for wash clothes and was told the wash clothes were hanging with the towels. Not the case for our room. The next afternoon I asked how to get fresh towels and was told to bring the used ones down to the front desk to exchange. Later that evening when I did that, I was told that she couldn’t do that because I just checked in the day before. She asked me how many people were in my room so I told her 2, which again was on my reservation. I stood there with 2 used towels and 2 wash clothes simply asking to exchange, and couldn’t believe what I was hearing. We booked (what I thought was a hotel) for 2 nights which was a huge mistake on my part. We only shower one time a day so i never imagined we would have to use the same wash clothes for multiple showers. I’ll never stay at a Wood Spring Suites again.

The hotel is newer and appears to be well maintained. For all the outdoor enthusiasts, it is directly next to Outdoor World. There are also several eateries just at the end of the road. It is in a good location for those going to events at the Henrico Sports Complex and the Meadows Event Center in Doswell. If you are sensitive to noise, the rear of the hotel faces directly onto i-95 so you will hear traffic all night long. It is a basic extended stay type property so fairly utilitarian but comfortable.

There was no hot water. Stood there for 2 nights no matter what time I showered, no hot water! Covers had hair on them. By the elevator, there were garbage bags piled up. Made the hallway and elevator smell terrible!!!

Decent hotel for as cheap as it was. Our room was on the side of I-95, the sound didn’t affect us but might if you’re a lighter sleeper.

A great extended stay hotel. There are kitchenettes in the room with a stove top, microwave, sink, and refrigerator, but you’ll have to bring your own cookware. Bathrooms were clean when I arrived and come with towels. The water tended to be lukewarm when I was there. Sometimes though the water would get really hot. Room service isn’t a feature here since this is an extended stay guests are responsible for cleaning their rooms. Laundry room was in good condition. The free wifi was slow and they charge for faster wifi. Overall I enjoyed my stay and will def come here again.
