ベイモント バイ ウィンダム サウス ホーランド(Baymont by Wyndham South Holland)

My booking was for a room with two queen beds. The hotel only had double beds. The hotel was under major construction so it also did not have a functioning pool which is something we were planning to use. The beds were moderately comfortable, but the bedding was lumpy and clearly well-used. Most of the hotel was under construction and quite dirty in the hallway and common areas.

The staff could only give limited help. Had limited amenities like coffee maker but no coffee or cups in the room. The telephone didn’t work and TV only worked half the time.

Place is currently under construction so I will give some grace on the looks in the inside. Which was not appealing. The room decor and appliances are dated. Staff was not welcoming. Very short with answers. Not friendly. Will not come back unless last resort. But affordable as it should be.

The reception area is going thru some remodeling and the floors were messy. The AC in the room was not cooling enough and we decided we keep driving and leave the room after couple hours.

The room needed better window cover for privacy and safety. Bath room faucet needed to be replaced water pressure was low. Although there were plenty of lamps the lighting was very dim. It is clear the property is under renovation.

They are not letting customers know that they are getting work done at their hotel. The pool wasn’t available, ice wasn’t available, the fitness room wasn’t available, hot breakfast wasn’t available, and vending machines were not available due to being under construction. They need to close until their construction is finished.

Desk staff was great, but the room was mediocre, no coffee, stained towels... This hotel being open during a remodel is a pretty bad idea. Ice machine not working on our floor, half of our floor covered in plastic with construction debris. When trying to find the ice machine we ended up on another floor that in music blaring and workers all over the place. This commotion was not heard in our room, so the noise level was no problem, but just inscribed upon me and uneasy feeling that the air quality may be poor, or that something may go wrong, like the heat go out or something. We were counting on being able to get breakfast in the hotel like the website said. Breakfast was not available. I was hoping go for a swim, the pool was shut down.

Got there to check in to find out the pool is not open, they don't have breakfast, reserved 2 queen and they only have full. Buckets everywhere catching water. Do not stay. We left, hopefully will get our money back

I have been at this hotel before. They are under new management. The least you could do is have the sheets and spreads clean. For almost a hundred dollars a night really.
