Travelodge Grantham Colsterworth

A nice and clean room but very hard to find when it’s dark as not signposted very well and no lights in the car park

I stayed at this Travelodge twice in recent weeks it is a clean, tidy and friendly hotel, a good location if you are travelling on the A1, I would also like to thank the staff for helping me with a problem, especially Maggie the manager THANK YOU

Booked this place for a Weekend, as it was more simple to book somewhere to stay. As had plans for the weekend, so drove up on the Friday, and had a pleasant welcome when I walked through the door. Also a simple and straight forward process to receive my keys for my room, and very clear instructions on how to find my room. Very clean room/bathroom, clean bedding, clean unit, it was 10/10 overall. For the whole weekend. Put a “top me up” card on my door, and came back to things well stocked. Pillows was perfectly comfortable and plump on arrival. I asked where is a good place to get food, other than Burger King/greggs. And the manager suggested “Truck Stop” and it was a great suggestion the food was worth the money. Definitely a 10/10, would recommend a stay here💯

The travelodge was much as expected though very clean ( more than most). The staff were friendly when they appeared and the room was fine no complaints. The main problem was in finding the travelodge building within the site as the signs were badly located or non existent. Anyone arriving in the dark would have difficulty. Because the travelodge is next to the A1 using the postcode only does not work on sat nav as it reads postcode as extending across motorway.

Basic but perfectly adequate. Room and bathroom weren't very clean which was disappointing. Tea/coffee in room. Easy to get to and plenty of parking. Quiet even though it was very close to the A1. Staff nowhere to be seen but there was a phone number to call if required

Stopped overnight here on a journey up north. Found it a bit difficult to find in the dark, as you cross over the A1 and then double back almost to the point of joining the southbound carriageway. However once there, the rooms are a good size, clean (newly decorated we think?). Check in easy and staff really friendly. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Close to the A1, ideal for a break in a long journey. The room was quiet and clean and we all slept well. There is a Greggs and a burger king next door. We booked a few weeks ahead and got a good price.

Arrived, staff v pleasant, felt as tho the painters had just left our room without cleaning up after them, paint spots everywhere and the vanity shelf in the bathroom was filthy. Not up to the usual standard that we are familiar with, might have to go back to Premier inns at this rate.

Had a half way stop on the way to see family. Clean room and lovely friendly staff, Ben on reception very knowledgeable and helpful. Went to the truck stop for breakfast in the morning, Maggie recommend it, came back far from hungry, perfect start to the day. Greggs and Burger King next door. Be back in a few weeks
