Read rest of reviews and can only but confirm ….. mostly all 5 * Those that are not …well read them - self explanatory after reading responses! If like me you are fishing Rutland… poifec ! Place distance food etc . Early start meant slow off the following morning- BUT they went out their way and compensated following two . Service ace ! We were on Rutland at 9 to fish - ie there for 8:30 ie finished by 8 - a normal start of breakfast !

Wonderful comfy super king bed in Luffingham room however the shower attachment is very poor over the bath so don't expect to wash your hair with it. Unfortunately the local church chimes on the hour so make sure you take ear plugs! We enjoyed our evening meal but the choice is quite limited and the evening we were there we had to wait a long time for it which was hard to understand as there was only 2 other tables occupied in the restaurant. Staff very friendly but I'm not sure we would stay again due to the church which the pub obviously has no control over.

The food was again excellent and Emma and staff looked after us superbly. After a round at Luffenham Heath GC there's no better place to rest your head.

Pretty location Friendly and helpful staff Comfy bed, room was spacious With a bath but no shower in our room We both enjoyed a delicious evening meal In the restaurant All in all we enjoyed a very pleasant stay at the Coach House Inn we will return again

Stayed for one night as a stop over on our trip. The room was comfortable and clean and great to have complimentary still and sparkling water alongside the tea and coffee. All the staff were so lovely and helpful. Such a nice old style pub feel too. The breakfast was really delicious! Would stay again!

I knew this was a pub with rooms, and I wasn't expecting a lot, however, we were really surprised, as it was very comfortable and clean. There was a bath, which we both loved, it was lovely and warm and the breakfast was the best one we have had on our trip, staying at a couple of places. I would go back.

All the charms of a country inn. Welcoming staff and locals, cosy bar with log fires and good quality beers & wines. The menu was varied enough without being fussy. The food well cooked. We stayed for 3 nights over new year and due to the cold weather Emma kindly moved us to a warmer room. Much appreciated. Excellent location for exploring the area especially for those like us new to the area. A credit to Emma & her team.

A great friendly place with the personal touch. Super breakfasts! Very well located for Rutland Water and the surrounding area. Flexible when we changed our booking. The room was attended every day together with a refresh of coffee, tea and water.

Nice room - just nice and comfortable for me and my dog. Lovely touch providing nibbles for dog. One thing missing was milk for tea/coffee. Friendly staff and lovely Sunday roast!! ! would thoroughly recommend.
