It is a big house with 11 rooms for customers. The room is spacious, very tidy and clean. A wide choice of food in breakfast. 10 minutes bus to city centre. 2 min walk to Shirley High Street and many restaurants, lounge, supermarket and everything. Southampton is a comfortable city to stay.

Lovely overnight stay in quiet residential area. Room was spotless, beds really comfortable and fresh. Parking on site a bit tight, but no problem. Facilities superb and a lovely breakfast catering for gluten- free. Ten minutes from walking to main street and twelve minute drive to cruise terminal. Great value, will definitely return.

Small but perfectly formed and more than adequate for my needs. I received a warm welcome from Warwick and learned all about his bee keeping and got to buy the honey. The room has lots of little touches like a luggage rack, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities, different lighting options, a fan and basic toiletries. The bed was comfortable, it was quiet, the shower was nice and warm, lovely towels and a good TV and WiFi. As a solo traveller, I'd recommend it. I also had a spot to park and the breakfast was tasty and service was really friendly. Perfect spot for visits to Southampton and the port.

Great B and B accommodation before a cruise Very nice, clean rooms, lovely breakfast and helpful, friendly staff. The local restaurants are fine and 10 minute walk, or you can take taxi to city and port for other options It’s a 15 minute text from port. Check out is 10.30 and there is a lovely, spacious lounge and garden where you can sit while waiting for taxi Highly recommend

Comfortable, large and clean room with small, by comparison, adequate shower room. Good breakfast provided in a light and airy dining room. Location is quiet and within easy walking distance of Shirley high street with its plentiful bars, restaurants and shops.

After a 7-hour layover at New York's JFK airport, followed by a 6-hour flight to London - arriving at 7AM, we found the staff and our rooms ready for our scheduled early arrival, as promised. Sailing out of Southampton the following day our primary interests were in getting a bite to eat before retiring to adjust to the time change. We slept like rocks in a well-appointed and extremely clean room having a queen sized (US) bed which we all agreed was like sleeping on a cloud; as no one had any recollection of waking until the following morning! Breakfast was outstanding and prepared to each individual's particular taste, in an environment which encouraged interactions with other guest. Should our journeys ever take us back to Southampton you can rest assured we will be staying at The Regent Guest House!

Good location for harbour and cruise ships. Off street parking. Friendly and excellent value for money. Best Full English breakfast i've had in a long while. Room good size and very clean. Would use again when next in the area. TV could have been bigger.

We received tickets to a show at the Mayflower Theatre in Southampton and opted to stay the night at the Regent Guest House. We had a superior room, which was lovely, very clean, light, quiet and welcoming, bathroom was immaculate and a good size. Breakfast was very good with a choice from cooked and buffet.If we come to Sputhampton again, we would be happy to return to this Guest House

Stayed the night before cruise. Excellent place. Very convenient. Street parking felt safe , not a problem. Room was very comfortable and immaculate. Breakfast one of the best. Would definitely recommend and book again. Thank you
