Mangia's Torre Del Barone Resort

Ottimo per un week-end in total relax.

Fabulous location! Breath-taking views and wonderful staff : Giuseppe (direttore di sala), Michele (sala), Antonietta e Christine (reception) e Sofia (experience). Strongly recommended, just watch out for the price of bottled water (€5 a bottle!) We only found out on the last day that there was a water fountain by the pool and on the beach, but that’s not clearly advertised! All in all, we had a lovely stay!

Absolutely stunning place! Amazing pool and beach and excellent food!! Can’t recommend it enough. The staff there are also super helpful and friendly. We went on our honeymoon and loved it. Would recommend hiring a car to get there though as it’s out in the countryside. There is a bus though that can take you to the local town.

Visited this property in April. Found it to updated and modern; rooms had touch screen control for entry, lights, television, etc. There are spectacular water views from all locations. The picture you see is not an ad; I took it from the lobby window! The beach is spacious, inviting and right out of Nat Geo! The bar is lively and there are many great options for dining (the pizza is amazing)!! The hotel staff was amazing on all counts. The hotel is located only a 10 minute cab ride from the town of Sciacca where you can shop, dine and enjoy history! I highly recommend this hotel; it is a ‘must stay’ anytime you are in the area!

Staying at Torre del Barrone in Sicily was like a wonderful dream. the staff, gorgeous room with balcony and ocean view, the ambiance throughout the hotel and the surrounding grounds, the food in all 3 restaurants, the beach and the magical light made our stay spectacular!!!!! Our cooking class with the head chef and manager was so fun and educational AND delicious!!! Gianluca Interrante, hotel manager, made each of us feel welcome like family. The almond paste cookies I purchased in the lovely gift shop were delicious and made by the shopkeepers Mama!!!! Torre del Barrone Mangia's should be classified a 5 star hotel!!! Cant wait to return!!!!!

Totalling amazing, better than expected. Great position, lovely grounds and facilities. Totally loved it, will return.

Very nice hotel and friendly staff. Lots of visitors there with very unruly children screaming and crying. Parents made little attempt to control them. I had an issue with the A/C not working properly and had to settle for only some cooling. Also disappointing that I was unable to make reservations at their nice restaurant and had to eat on patio with a limited menu next to a bunch of smokers :-(

All staff made our stay an excellent experience. From check in with Sabrina who gave us a tour of the hotel and explained how to effectively navigate its special hillside uniqueness, to Claudia and Cristina who attended to everyone of our questions and requests. Roberta who facilitated reservations to the restaurants and all terrace bartenders and servers who were welcoming and always kind and jovial. We have stayed in many 5 star hotels in the many years of extensive travel but it is this staff that has made our stay so very special. Thank you.

We had a great time at Torre Del Barone. The service, pool, food, evening entertainment for kids were top notch. Beautiful Beach is close by and can be accessed via a mini train that operates every 10mins or by 10mins walk. I always opted for the walk to admire the beautiful views leading to the beach. The kids enjoyed the sports activity which is included as part of the package - from archery, tennis, mini golf, basketball and much more. The hotel has 6 different places to drink and eat and we really enjoyed the Pizzeria with great service from Antonio! Highly recommend!
