Poseidonion Grand Hotel

I am rating the restaurant buffet on the day of ARMATA.This is an event once every year. You have to book in advance a table and lately they changed it from served dinner to buffet. The tables on the veranda were so close that we couldn’t sit! The buffet quality was extremely poor with extremely low quality! The service was awful! I have to mention that the price per person was very high for what offered

Was to be offered an uograde but was not. Service was inconsistent regarding breakfast and during bar service(did receive a wrong bill but I resolved it. Had a balcony with partial ocean view. Room was smaller tha a non balcony without a view). Had a larger non balcony room that was less in price. Noisey in which it was a whiskey event in which could not sleep until 2:00am. Shoukd of put us in a non noisey event area since this evrnt was pre planned. Noticed a managment change since our first wonderful experience four years ago (2919 in June).

I just spent a week at The Poseidonion Hotel and saying it was sublime does not really do it justice ! The welcome and thoughtful attention to detail were unparalleled as well as the Concierge services ( thank you Zoe! ) who organised efficient transfers and such interesting trips ( I highly recommend the electric bike tour of the island). My room was divine with a wonderful view of the sea ( spectacular sunrises and sunsets), the boats and all Spetses life in the square below. The food was delicious - please try the creamy orzo ratatouille ! I am really grateful to all the staff for making my stay so unforgettable and I will see you all next year !

A stylish and elegant hotel with such friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast on the veranda a wonderful start to any day. Special praise to concierge Zoe and her team. To have everything organised (along with helpful recommendations) from excursions to restaurant bookings, from beach clubs to taxis, all done with such efficiency and a nice smile. Happy to recommend.

This hotel is pure perfection! All rooms are furnished with elegance. The seafront location was so practical for visiting the island and local beaches also in foot. All staff were friendly yet professional. Concierge staff were very helpful with all our requests. We will definitely return!

Magical really does say it all when it comes to the Grand Poseidonian and Spetses. We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and wanted a combination of traditional, non touristy Greek Island combined with suitably comfortable accommodation and we hit the nail on the head. Spetses is a glorious island which despite expensive shops and glamorous yachts maintains a traditional element with extremely good value restaurants and beautiful beaches. The Grand Poseidonian is a gem of a hotel. It combines comfortable accommodation with all mod cons with a personal touch. As has been noted in many reviews the star in the crown of this hotel is their Concierge, Zoe. This lady has her fingers on the pulse of this hotel and manages to make every guest feel special, thank you! Are there any cons? The bathrooms (at least in main building) are very small - shower rooms only and service at breakfast can be spotty but as smiles are plentiful these are minor details! We can’t wait to return and think this may be our new favourite hotel.

The most beautiful island and wonderful hotel . Also the most amazing concierge Zoe , was so incredibly helpful Weather , was amazing and there was a fantastic regatta Wonderful food and the island is charming
