there is no more beautiful location as the Sevilla, right on a pristine lake , quiet, no cars or trains to be heard, only a very occasional seagull.The Tacoli Family are charming and professional hosts, the food excellent, with a quite extraordinary wine selection, apparently each one tasted by Count AlexanderTacoli himself-wishing him good health. the service generally was very efficient ,the rooms nicely taken care of, the price all in all very reasonable. two small recommendations-I appreciate that most guests are from german speaking countries, but it would be nice have CNBC, CNN and a BBC news Channel available. and maybe a couple more shelves in the bathroom.but that 's it

What a wonderful stay - from the great receptionist at the entrance, to the lovely room right on the lake (worth the extra for the amazing view), through to the truly wow breakfast. Perfect parking across the way. All round 10.

A beautiful little hotel, family owned with attentive staff, clean classic rooms, in the middle of the village. The food is good, try to have it on the outside if weather permits. Parking is free and on premise. We were given a very nice room with lake view.

Went here for one night in January. It is a very nice old school hotel on the lake. Some rooms have a splendid view of the lake which is amazing. The room was clean and spacious but again I am not a big fan of the 19th century look. They also have a EV charger (Tesla destination) which we used, however it did not charge for the whole night for some reason. Breakfast was very good, however service at the breakfast was not that good due to them lacking staff. Reception service was good. All in all, a very nice hotel.

Hotels with historic charm are becoming harder to find in Austria. The See-Villa is a fine survival. The highlights are its unchanged 1890s exterior, its position right on the lake (with no traffic) and charming old bedrooms - or at least ours was, in a neighbouring villa of the same vintage. It had lovely views across the lake, including from a sweet balcony, and was pretty much unchanged from when it was built, including details such as the windows and doors. Parking is easy and the wifi is good. There is a fine restaurant that did an excellent buffet breakfast and dinner for one of the nights we were there. Our only reservation was that the tables seemed a bit close together. A little disappointingly, the dining areas of the hotel, unlike most of the hotel buildings, have been modernised. The staff were very friendly and helpful including with guidance on the lovely walks you can do around Millstatt, including its collection of fin-de-siècle villas, the ancient cloistered abbey and church, the calvary above the village and fine, well-signposted walks you can do beyond there to Obermillstatt and then further into the mountains above the village.

This is a historic hotel, perfectly situated on the banks of a beautiful alpine See. It is run by a young couple who are present and attentive to the requirements of running a small and prestigious hotel. All aspects of the service were friendly and personal, and you are certainly made to feel welcome here. The hotel is historic, but comfortable, with some beautiful vistas from the dining room, hotel rooms and the Seefront gardens. The lake in peaceful and pristine; amd doesn’t freeze in winter. The hotel is well situated for a variety of activities in both summer and winter, and accessible to Italy and Salzburg. I would certainly recommend a stay in this hotel to anyone visiting the region.

Wir hatten das Vergnügen mit unseren Freunden, drei Tage im Hotel Seevilla in Millstatt zu verbringen. Das Hotel liegt in einer malerischen Umgebung und bietet einen wunderschönen Blick auf den See. Unser Doppelzimmer war im historischen Stil, passend zum traditionellen Haus eingerichtet. Das Frühstück auf der Seeterasse war ein absolutes Highlight. Mit einem atemberaubenden Blick auf den See und einem reichhaltigen Frühstück konnten wir unseren Tag perfekt starten. Unsere Freizeitaktivitäten auf Empfehlung von Hotelchefin Valentina waren ein tolles Erlebnis. Insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt ein voller Erfolg.

Mein Freund und ich verbrachten vier wunderbare Tage im Schlosshotel See-Villa am Millstätter See. Das historische Ambiente, kombiniert mit modernem Luxus, ist wirklich beeindruckend. Unser Zimmer war individuell gestaltet mit Originalmöbeln aus dem Jahr 1884, was für eine besondere A**osphäre sorgte. Die See-Terrasse war unser Lieblingsort für Frühstück mit Blick auf den glitzernden See. Der Speisesaal und die neue Bar sind einfach ein Traum – stilvoll und einladend. Das Essen, oft aus dem hauseigenen Kräuter- und Gemüsegarten, war frisch und köstlich. Der Wellnessbereich bot Entspannung pur, mit hochwertigen Naturkosmetikprodukten und komfortablen Box-Spring-Betten. Die Herzlichkeit der Familie Tacoli und ihr persönlicher Einsatz machten unseren Aufenthalt besonders angenehm. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und die Zeit in der See-Villa sehr genossen. Es war wie ein Urlaub bei guten Freunden – herzlichen Dank an die Familie Tacoli für dieses unvergessliche Erlebnis! Hermine
