New hotel, off of I55, south of the capitol bldng. & close to Abe’s Museum, so don’t expect wooded areas as a view. STILL, we enjoyed our pristine King room which was a step above others in terms of size. I especially liked that the bathroom had 2 doors. One to the bedroom. The other, to the kitchen / living room area. We arrived mid afternoon and Kayleigh warmly greeted us. She noted we were Diamond level and offered water and a snack. Later that evening, still at the desk, big smile as we grab an Amy’s Burrito and Lean Cuisine to heat up in our very large, full size refrigerator kitchen which was adequately stocked with plates, and such. VERY easy to log into our NetFlix account. Ample storage with 2 lg. closets so we could keep belongings separated. Comfy bed. Wish there was at least one flat pillow as their cushy (high grade) pillows our not my go to. I imagine I could have called the desk. The work out and pool areas were clean, though I did not use, despite good intentions. We LOVED that checkout was not until Noon so we could read (and write this review) B4 heading home where a quite lull is difficult to find. Oh, breakfast was mediocre, but with food prices and even what people eat select to eat… No fresh fruit. Oatmeal was empty. The reheated egg rounds, well…. However, there was cold, sweet vanilla yogurt from a dispenser which is practical for this type of service and “green” given less plastic. I wish I could see ing. And also added granola and raisins so decent. Unpeeled, cold hard eggs so no ick-factor re: have others touched. Real place settings and plates, bowls, vs plastic. Juice, waffles, cereal, some bagels and pasteries. SO, given all considerations, a practical array as most guests were waffle and sugar oriented. Enough to get a somewhat healthy start to the day. I’d stay again and like it was close to I55.
