Holiday Inn Express Springfield Downtown

Nobody believes a 5 star review or at least I don’t. So everything was on point and the staff was friendly and professional. I used the gym and helped myself to the complementary breakfast. I felt safe coming in after 11 or 12 midnight. The room was well lit not like some of the other hotels my counterparts were staying at. I loved the table on wheels. It can be moved to between the beds to accommodate more people with a table to eat at or play games. I never felt comfortable using the supplied toiletries until I seen that the dispenser could only be accessed by a special key. I have very dry skin and never thought to try the dove hand lotion before but it worked amazingly better than what I bought with me. Also the hotel did not have hard water which I loved

Everything was good overall. 2 issues we noticed. 1. Shower was very slow 2. The pancake machine was broke. Kids were disappointed they couldn’t have pancakes for breakfast.

Exceptional! Great location, clean and cozy rooms. Breakfast was excellent. Staff was friendly and very accommodating.

They did a wonderful job with what they have. Offsite parking is a little worrisome but overall we are very happy with our stay!

The shower head burst, I sent a request to the front desk to come fix it, also to provide toiletry supply, nothing was done. On the last day we didn’t even have shower soap. I demand a credit because of the poor service I received. Windows were not noise proof, we could hear all the noise from outside. Breakfast had very poor quality.

After a 2 week stay, we got to know hotel and staff very well. Overall a good quality hotel with good service from all staff we dealt with. Rooms were clean and the front desk responded positively to all our requests. One of the cleaning staff is a very spry guy in his late 60s who was particularly thorough and super efficient and is known at the hotel as the energizer bunny and i could see why. Complementary breakfast had fairly large choice of hot and cold foods. The self made pancakes were surprisingly good although the machine was out of order for a couple of days.

Nice option for the ******, which is just a three min walk down the road. Parking is free and fairly convenient. Breakfast is also free and decent. My biggest complaint is the elevators. They were very slow and only one was working, which was also used by staff, as there did not appear to be a separate service elevator. This did slow things down and there was a fairly long wait each time we went up and down. Overall, it’s a good value and convenient to downtown.

I always stay at this location when visiting my daughter. Rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable and the staff is very friendly. Appreciate the nice hot breakfasts as well!
