"This property is not worth the prices they charge. My friend and I booked a two-bedroom cottage for 4 nights. We were charged peak season rates at the time of the booking despite the fact that we were well outside the peak time. Once we were taken by the front desk associate, Michael, to our unit, we discovered there was a great disparity between the bedrooms. One was relatively nice but showing signs of wear and tear and the other one was considerably smaller, not nearly as nice and was right below another unit with paper thin walls and ceiling. We could hear regular volumed voices as if they were in our room. The kitchen area was not as advertised, the front door lock did not work and you had to enter via the lesser bedroom, and the furniture looked worn out. When we asked Michael to change rooms, he and the other associate at the front reception, Loric , were completely unhelpful and gave us excuse upon excuse as to why transferring our accommodation to the less expensive hotel rooms was impossible. Understand we were literally losing money on our reservation by the "downgrade" and not requesting an adjustment in our rates. Michael said that the "manager of the whole property" Ms. Ruchi Sura was unable to be reached by phone so he was only able to email her our complaint and request. This process dragged on for over an hour. I was finally given her email address and wrote to her directly, copying Michael on the email. She never responded to me. Only after re visiting Michael who was now alone in the front office area and making it clear that our only options were to reverse charges for the cottage with our credit card was he magically able to move us to our alternate rooms. This made for an unnecessarily stressful first day on this property. If everything went well after that change was made, we would have chalked it up to a rough beginning and moved on. However, the overall upkeep of the resort is lacking. Light bulbs were missing or not working, plumbing issues in the shower and the fact that there was no one at all on the property after 5 pm was truly unacceptable. My advice to you fellow traveler is to avoid this property."
