Big tooms

Never go to Heritage Hotel. The place is old peeling bathroom counter. The towels are discolored, old also the bed sheets. All the furniture are dusty very old. The pipes were busted two days in a row hence we had no water for a while. When water came back on it was brown. Had to make it run for 30 mins before it got clear. Some of the staff were very indifferent n cold.

Nice and welcoming

This hotel needs to be taking off ******* because what you see on line is not what you get when you arrive there. From since this place was built nothing has ever been changed. Shower handle is corroded, face basin change color from its original color, and the list goes on and on. I don’t recommend this place for no vacation at all no matter how cheap it is. Heritage please do better than that.

Location Nice hotel for the money. Very convenient location in the heart of St. John’s. Just blocks from the cruise port and a number of restaurants within easy walking distance. Taxi stand just around the corner.

Roaches and thin scratchy sheets From the moment we walked in the check in attendant was very unfriendly & unhelpful & said there was an additional $6 hotel charge that was not included in the already long list of additional hotel charges. When we got to the room the very first thing we saw was 2 roaches in the shower. The towels were very dingy and looked very used not to mention the long strand of hair that was stuck in the washcloth. We stayed the one night, my wife refused to stay another. There was a fowl odor. People in prison get thicker blankets. Bugs in the light fixture. Pieces of the ceiling falling out. 15inch TV in the farthest corner of the room. There was no vending machine or ice machine we were assigned to the 4th floor. Found out the next morning the one small elevator for the entire hotel is broken. Upon checkout we requested help with luggage & was told, there’s no one to help, while watching 2 other employees sitting,talking and texting in the lobby. We had to carry 4 large suitcases down 4 flights of stairs. After requesting a discount for the inconvenience, the attendant laughed and said no. Upon leaving the same 2 employees still sitting in the lobby texting. Please update the star rating on your booking site because the pictures definitely don’t match.

Absolutely horribly noisy! The music from the established across the street mega phone into our room like we were 5 feet from the speaker. Was not able to get any rest until the place closed after midnight.

And was stopped by another member of staff When I arrived at Heritge Hotel early evening in the 20th Nov 2024 I was greeted by a lovely receptionist who was very chatty , polite and very welcoming to the extent that since I booked a expensive suite I was given a complimentary breakfast , I was asked to fill in form stating what I would like for my breakfast the form Was returned and received by the very nice staff in the resturant . I was served the breakfast and it was nice. However I was then asked to pay for it and I refused telling the staff to contact reception as I had been given a complimentary breakfast . I returned to my room and the phone was ringing and it was the day receptionist who was very rude and told me I would pay for the breakfast and it was not complimentary . I told her I was not paying for it and to contact the nice lady who was on reception the night before she then hung up on me. Very soon after I went to reception and a local girl with dyed ginger hair looked at me and said we contacted the receptionist that was on duty the night before and she did say I had been given a complimentary breakfast and that she had decided to uphold the fact that this had happened . I was by now getting very angry as there was no apology or politeness from Her and you could see in her face she was very angry .she said you owe 5 dollars hotel tax and three the card reader in front of me I refused to pay until she acted correctly with manners . She then went to attack me

Rooms were large, Staff is excellent! location was fantastic near great restaurants and shopping. I loved that the staff recommended me to Wine House restaurant and I enjoyed one of the best meals ever!!! thank you staff. the only thing that would have made it better is if the hot water in the shower was a little hotter. I will be returning there on my next business trip!!!
