We enjoyed our three night stay at the hotel over the New Years holiday. The staff at check-in was friendly as expected in Thailand. The hotel lobby furniture was slightly oversized for its space as we had to walk around it to get to the elevator. Our room was comfortable and large enough for our two moderately sized suite cases. We booked a room with breakfast, which was one of the best we have had at a hotel. We each got to order a couple dishes off the menu, which were excellently presented and tasted excellent. Additionally, there was a buffet with pastries, fruits, etc. Unfortunately, due to our early schedule two of the days we could not get the hot breakfast. On our last morning they provided a packed breakfast, which was a sandwich and other less memorable food. The hot breakfast was the most memorable thing for us about the hotel. I did also like the room design. In terms of hotel location, it is fairly central with shopping malls and restaurants a 5 – 10 minute walk away. We found traffic to be really slow around New Years with lots of Thais. This was my second time to Chiang Mai with my first trip in July over a decade ago. During both trips we had a friend who lives in Chiang Mai drive us around. I would say traffic during our first trip was not memorable, unlike at New Years. This made getting to the hotel from the main street slow and it may be better to pickup taxi/grab/ride on a main street. It may also be worth checking out when busy times are in Chiang Mai to have a more enjoyable trip.

ゲゲストThis unique boutique hotel was lovely in terms of layout, style and elegance. We enjoyed the pool and the breakfast included was most adequate. The spa was extraordinarily great value for money, and I would highly recommend having a massage and facial, as it was truly a divine experience. The rooms were well appointed, and look just like the photos online. As it was very hot at the time of year we were there, the air con was greatly welcomed. The big minus for the hotel was the reception experience. On arrival there was general confusion about our booking, the ladies were in the backroom the whole time, and it was difficult to get input on what to do, or where to go. There just seemed constant confusion and a lack of energy at reception overall. There was a lack of local knowledge or guidance, and I expected some really great insights on local restaurants or adventures such as cooking schools etc, but it was not forthcoming. Just a minor thought, but the hotel clothing of the staff also missed a beat. Everyone was in tired looking grey polo shirts. A minor point, but for such a lovely hotel, I thought there could be something more fitting/traditional for the team to wear. Finally the old mercedes was a hoot. Loved being driven to the airport in it. Added to the adventure.
ゲゲストThis resort is in the heat of Chang Mi town center. A very quiet relaxing hotel that was opened up by the royal princess. This mini resort is really a good place to escape from everyday life. We stayed in one of the suites, very spacious, very clean, had lovely aromas, a super big spa bath, and an overall elegant look to it. A great outside space overlooking the property, and a nice bed lounger too. The housekeeping team really knows what they're doing and is very polite. All staff at the resort are very pleasant. The pool area for this resort is great, very clean, and has good features. A good place to cool down after day drips in the heat. Breakfast is located over the road at their off-site restaurant. Breakfast is very simple, and offers you different national types of dishes. Really good. The seating area looks over the river which is great to see while having breakfast. This resort pretty much leaves you to it, to enjoy your time. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay here if you are looking to escape.
