Great Location - walking distance to all restaurants. Rooms clean, a bit dar more light would help. but loved my stay.

This guest house never disappoints. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable rooms, excellent service, delicious breakfast & convenient location. Lovely swimming pool when visiting in warmer months. I recommended staying here when visiting Stellenbosch.

Bonne Esperance is a lovely choice of accommodation in Stellenbosch. The rooms are very nicely appointed. The apartment room we stayed in had a small bathroom but everything worked. We fiund the beds quite hard, but the linen was top notch. Being an old house, it can be noisy with the wooden floors. Our neighbours were not terribly considerate - stomping around their room, or having long chats outside our window. Other than that, we can’t fault the establishment. Off road parking in a secure area was also a win! We did not try the breakfast but the restaurant looked very nice.

Enormous care is taken with the presentation of the grounds. The garden is beautiful and relaxing. The breakfast options and quality are amazing and the staff are warm, friendly and attentive. Everything the guest house has to offer is explained to you upon arrival.

Great stay The reception staff were very welcoming. The solo room was clean and had everything I needed.The garden is beautiful and the location cannot be beaten. The breakfast was lovely and I will definitely be back soon.

Lovely, big, homely room. Great location. A few minutes walk from most of the top rated restaurants in the area. The ladies at reception couldn’t have been more helpful or friendly. They sourced us transfers to a couple of tours we’d booked when we were there which was much appreciated. Note – pools are very small (they are plunge pools as described on the website) but lovely temperature and great that both main guesthouse and studios each have one.

Really a beautiful small Hotel with a beautiful garden, very kind staff and a outstanding breakfast! And a pool, not forget to mention! :) I really loved my stay and would have loved to stay longer :)

We stayed here for our group wine tour. The stay was exceptional. The staff was very accommodating to our group. The location was very central. The room was impeccable. Breakfast amazing. Will definitely try to stay here again. All of the staff was so friendly.

I would highly recommend staying at this property. Rooms are extremely clean and modern, the breakfast is prepared to order (no horrible buffet!), close to town, lovely swimming pool and comfortable sitting areas. A lovely home away from home.
