オテル サン オディール(Hotel Sainte Odile)

A very comfortable hotel situated in a great location with plenty of free parking nearby. The staff were very friendly and spoke good English (as opposed to my very limited French). The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable.

A perfect spot for our overnight stay on our return to UK. A short walk from the main car park and well positioned for exploring Obernai. The room was adequate and the bed was very comfortable. We will definitely use again.

A simple, quiet hotel with comfortable beds and dark curtains. If you arrive in daylight, you’ll see it’s also beautiful. I arrived at midnight, long after the reception closed, but had an email with the front door code and my key was in my door. Their restaurant was closed 2 of the 3 nights i was there, and i had other plans the 3rd day. But it was packed that night. Breakfast looks good, but I don’t eat breakfast. It’s a beautiful little town, well touristed with the corresponding good restaurants, shops and bars, and Hotel Sainte Obernai is right in the middle of it.

I’d spent 11 hours on a plane, missed 2 trains, the bus was late, and i ended up taking a taxi from Strassburg. At some point i got an email: “here’s the outside door code and your room key is in the door.” I arrived about midnight and was able to get into my room. I like this system. It’s a simple and quiet place. I don’t eat breakfast, but it looked good. Restaurant was closed Wednesday and Thursday and Friday i had plans, but i had local wine and Suze (gentian bitters) there. Right outside are plenty of restaurants and cafés, but i never got the noise. I would definitely stay here again.

No one at the hotel spooke english noor german. So the information and service was poor, and we were left to our selfes and felt not that welcome. We were furthermore informed, that breakfast was from 07, but it turned out that in the weekend it was not until 07:30.

Hotel was closed at inchecktime 14.30 . We went for help to the neighbours in order to call the owner of the hotel/restaurant Saint Odile. After view minutes arrived a hostes of the hotel and we were accompanied to oud Room.

Deux nuits en chambre familiale. Literie confortable. Rien à redire sur la propreté. Personnel sympathique et petit-déjeuner buffet satisfaisant. Bon séjour dans ce 2 étoiles en plein centre d’Obernai, à moins de 10 minutes de la gare. Rapport qualité-prix satisfaisant.
