クリスタル プラザ ホテル(Crystal Plaza Hotel)

Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Es wird erklärt, wo das Frühstück ist und wird gefragt, wann der Zimmerservice das Zimmer reinigen soll. Passiert nicht automatisch oder täglich. Schönes Hotel-Gebäude und im Zentrum gelegen. Unser Zimmer hatte einen Balkon zur Straße und in der vierten Etage. Im Sommer nichts für empfindliche Menschen, weil man lüften muss, aber es sehr laut wird von getunten Fahrzeugen, die oft die ganze Nacht durch die Stadt fahren. In der Nähe befinden sich Clubs und Bars, die freitags und samstags mit ordentlichem Bass spielen. Bei geschlossenen Fenstern war es leise. Unser Zimmer hatte leider einen nach alten und nach feuchten Socken stinkenden dreckigen Teppich und das Fenster musste die ganze Zeit offen bleiben. Die Größe des Doppelbettzimmers was OK. Bequemes Bett. Saubere Bettwäsche. Wenig Kanäle auf dem Fernseher mit einer dreckigen und sehr klebrigen Fernbedienung. Das Badezimmer hatte eine gute Größe mit einer undichten Dusche, so dass der ganze Boden immer nass war. Viel Schimmel in der Dusche, der nicht zu übersehen war. Echt schade, dass es nicht ordentlich geputz wurde. Dass der Zimmerservice drin war, konnte man nur an dem gemachten Bett sehen. Es wurde weder im Bad geputzt, noch im Zimmer gesaugt. In der ganzen Umgebung gibt es eine Auswahl an Restaurants und Supermärkten. Die nächste Metrostation ist ca. 10 Min. Fußweg entfernt. Man muss nur bedenken, dass Stockholm hügelig ist und der Fußweg nicht immer flach ist. Es befindet sich im Hotel ein chinesisches Restaurant, in dem gefrühstückt wird. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist eher mager. Schnittwurst, Käse, Marmelade, Brott, Brötchen. Warme Würstchen na ja, Rührei immer feucht und nicht richtig durchgebraten, Fleischbällchen a la Köttbullar nicht besonders. Immerhin immer Äpfel und Bananen zum Mitnehmen. Unterm Strich: Ich habe schon einige Hotels gesehen und kenne die Preisklassen. In Stockholm muss man darauf achten, dass das Hotel ein Fenster hat oder eben ohne! Wenn der Teppich sauber und nicht stinken würde und das Bad sauber wäre, würde ich trotz der Lautstärke und des schlechten Frühstücks 8 von 10 geben, so bleibt nur 3/10 und nicht empfehlenswert.

Great location in the middle of the city. The room was a bit small, but it was clean and it had a balcony facing the courtyard. the bed was very hard, but since we only stayed one night, it didn't matter that much. The breakfast was good. Surprisingly good scrambled eggs. Bigger hotels never seem to get those right... The hotel has a nice interior, but it does feel a bit worn. The only really negative thing was that it smelled like sewer through the open window, but it went away after a while. Great hotel considering the price. And the location makes up for the little things that we maybe didn't like.

The breakfast buffet was wonderful, with good hours. Room was comfortable. Sheets were very soft. Good shower pressure. Friendly, helpful staff.

Nothing special, everything very basic. Bathroom was from 1975, unable to attach shower head properly because it was for a different wall mount. They have ironing rooms but the equipment was old and no steam iron. I would at least prefer a proper steam iron if everyone shares.

The staff was most professional, courteous, and helpful. For the room, which had no window, only a fan that didn’t work was provided. The shower had no door and the floor, which was not properly sloped toward the drain, made it impossible to prevent flooding.

Nice location, hotel is being refurbished. Rooms are extremely small. Hard and thin towels. Shower curtain! Haven't seen that for years... Small breakfast, limited offering, no bacon to the scrambled eggs!

De size of the room and the balkon

The rooms are clean and well kept, there is an elevator that is easy to use and the staff cleans the rooms every day. Breakfast is exactly the same every day, but it wasn't terrible and the coffee was good. The Sauna is impossible to use (no dials or buttons in visible areas) and is in a moderately creepy basement and the people at the front desk did not all understand english so it was at times difficult to communicate issues.
