We stayed at Penryn Guest House last Friday & Saturday nights & what a lovely place! The rooms were so lovely & spotlessly clean & such a nice surprise to find a separate room, we’ll definitely be going back & would highly recommend Penryn Guest House

We stayed at the Penryn Guest House for 2 nights in April. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Check in is done through email or gmail so you don't see the owners unless you have a problem which they sort out straight away. Its a 20 minute walk into Stratford upon Avon town centre, Shakespeare House, Schoolroom and Guildhall, Anne Hathaway Cottage. I would recommend this Guest House the only down side is that you have to go into Town for Breakfast or Evening Meal.

showers are horrible they go hot for 2 minutes then cold the rest of the time rooms very small and so are the showers !!! the owners do nothing about the coldness and keep the boilers off otherwise the place is ok but seems like they are on a tight budget

We had two rooms as we were with family members. I booked using activity superstore vouchers and stayed Monday to Wednesday. We had room 12 which was more like an apartment with all facilities. On arrival which was a bit early we were met by a gentleman who showed us to our rooms and explained procedures for entering and leaving the property. We didn’t have any interaction with anyone else but that was not a problem as everything was perfect. Car park was not an issue and we walked into Stratford which took about 15 minutes. The bed was very comfortable the room was spotless we really enjoyed our stay and would return if coming back to the area. Thank you very much to the owners of the property.

If you are looking for a fantastic place to stay in Stratford-Upon-Avon the Penryn Guest House is it! We arrived late in the evening and we received a code to enter the building and our room via email. We just did a short, flat walk from the train station. Entering our room we were surprised by all the amenities and comfortable bed. There was a small refrigerator next to a table for two with an assortment of coffees, teas and cookies. The Penryn really maximizes the space, a 40” TV mounted high on the wall opposite the beds. The price per night was very affordable. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. Your also a short walk to the city center to see the sites and some great restaurants.

Last minute decision to attend Stratford Races, made the day before the meeting. So frantic look for accommodation required, I chose Penryn Guest House, primarily due to reviews and location. Ideal for me 15 minute walk to the centre of Stratford-upon Avon and 20 minutes to the racecourse. Although I didn't personally meet the hosts during my one night stay, communication via text and email were excellent. I was arriving way before check-in time, no problem, I was permitted to use the car park, so I could venture into the town. Entrance to the building and my room were both by keypad , numbers sent by text, easy to operate. My room(12) was very good, a generous family room, consisting of two decent size rooms, one with a kingsize bed, very comfy, plus a kitchenette with plenty of coffee/tea available. The other had a dining table and single bed. Loved the large shower, with plenty of hot water, in the bathroom. More than happy with my stay and good value, as well, wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Great features that make the stay worth it; a decent-sized bathroom and kitchen area. All the tea and coffee extras you could ask for. The house is not too far from the town centre with a supermarket also on the way there/back.

Everything was lovely and clean. Towels changed even though we were happy to re-use, bed was large, kingsize if not bigger. Plenty of storage for clothes, hairdryer, small kitchette and a small fridge in room. All in all very enjoyable.

Excellent location with a well appointed, clean and comfortable room. The location was a 15min, flat walk to the town centre and attractions. Free parking was an added bonus. The room (12) was a small suite with large shower and toilet room, main bedroom with small well equipped kitchenette (microwave, toaster, fridge, kettle and accessories) and an additional bedroom with bed and dining tables. There was plenty of storage. The owners are unobtrusive but leave contact numbers for raising problems etc. This is a lovely little hotel ideal for short stays in beautiful Stratford. Recommended.
