My fiance and I booked a visit to see Karma hall as a possible venue for our wedding. We met Lizzy who made our experience incredible! She was so helpful and patient with us as we had so many questions. Because of her we have decided this is the venue for us. Her attention to detail was incredible and she knew it was the little things that mattered. She really is an asset to Karma Hall and we can't thank you enough for making it so special.

The Hall is simply stunning - from first sight to the insides. Beautiful old building, retaining it's original features with luxury fittings. Original beams, window surrounds but functions beautifully as a pub, restaurant and hotel. Staff are so friendly and helpful, and the food is excellent. I just had a spa treatment with Emma, and it really hit the spot. We'd spent the past few days going on the recommended walks, so my legs were feeling it, but an hour's bamboo massage freed me up totally. Highly recommend Karma Stanford Hall.

We booked for a wedding show around at this venue. Wow! This historical building is beautiful. It has been used for many things over the years one of which is that it was used by King Henry VIII. The rooms are clean and modern so it gives you a mix of history and modern which we love. Lizzy who showed us around is the main reason why we have short listed this venue. She made us feel so special as she showed us around the venue, and was honest and knowledgeable about the venue. She listened to everything we said and was so thoughtful. She is an asset to this company. Because she helped us to build a very bespoke wedding.

Salford Hall is a beautiful period building with significant potential. As it is today I would rate it no more than an average three star based on our room and the public areas. Flooring, decor and beds need updating. That said, the bed linen, towels and bath products are of high quality. The furnishing however are old. Karma did tell us they have started a refurb program that will be complete in 18-24 months so there may be some rooms already complete. All the Staff were friendly. Continental breakfast was limited but adequate. Pretty garden area and ample parking. Will be interested to see how the investment and development processes. This building has wonderful period features and definitely deserves some sympathetic TLC.

We were offered a 3 night "free" stay at this hotel, which we happily took up in order to explore the Cotswolds. As part of our stay we agreed to a 1 hour presentation about the Karma group in general. We found the presentation to be uninspiring, with some old school tactics employed to encourage us to sign up to the membership (The regional manager just happened to be there that one day we were there and coincidentally was able to offer us a unique, special offer if we signed up to the membership etc.) We raised a couple of concerns about sustainability, impact on locals in the areas they had hotels etc and found the answers to not be particularly reassuring. In terms of the hotel itself, the bed was quite uncomfortable with flat, quite hard pillows that left us with sore necks in the morning. The House breakfast was limited in selection and ok, but nothing more. The other breakfast options were extremely expensive for what they were! There were some nice areas of the hotel but others needed a fair bit of work. It struck us as a cheap hotel, portraying an image of luxury, but missing the mark. Overall, not a great stay, although the staff were very nice and deserve a mention. They are a credit to the hotel.

Fabulous staff particularly Emma in the Spa. My husband has Indian Head massage and I had reflexology. Because I have numerous health issues Emma gave me a gentle foot massage before going into the full treatment. She chatted with me throughout checking that I could cope with the amount of pressure she was applying. I would recommend Emma at Salford Karma Spa Hotel to everyone. If you’re local well worth a weekly visit. If you’re a guest at the hotel be sure to give yourself that extra little luxury to make your stay complete. Thank you Emma 🫶

We had the most gorgeous wedding day at Karma, Salford Hall. It blew expectations out of the water. There wasn't more the team there could have done for us, they were incredibly organised, good at communicating with us and working around any issues with a well thought out solution. They worked tirelessly to ensure it was the day we wanted and we could not be more grateful. A particular shout out to Ellie who looked after us most of the time. Thank you. I would not hesitate booking this venue if you are looking for a wedding all in one place and with a team who will put in a lot of effort.

Thank you Lizzie and all the staff at Salford Hall for an absolutely unforgetable stay over the Cheltenham Festival. We had such an enjoyable time, food was excellent, Four poster was brilliant and the company amazing, and as for the after races dinner, never to be forgotten. We love the history and the facilities at Salford Hall but more than anything the staff make it extra special by genuinely wanting you to have a great stay. This visit incorporated a day at Cheltenham Races which was a full day of fun and excitement. The restaurant is very good and bar is a lovely place to gather and meet new people. We have now been several times and will go as often as we possibly can. It is a superb location to visit all the wonderful towns and villages in the Cotswolds. Love Love Love it.
