バーンサイド ホテル(Burnside Hotel)

We stayed one night on a road trip. The hotel was very clean and modern, because we had booked direct we had a very nice upgrade to a large room (room 2) which had a very comfortable bed. The shower was very good with lots of power which is a pleasant change from many hotels. The staff were polite and helpful. Good location ,5 minutes walk from Ann Hathaway's cottage and we also walked into the town in about 25 minutes.

Room 12 was huge, beautifully appointed and scrupulously clean. Very tastefully decorated. The hotel have recently built a standalone bar in the grounds with outside decking with tables and chairs set amongst the beautiful trees. On a sunny afternoon it’s a gorgeous place to sit and have a drink or some bar food. Also only a 6 minute walk from Anne Hathaway’s House. Stratford itself also a very beautiful.

This place is magic, the rooms, staff, and food are just top notch. Our room was a king size bed and it was really great you needed a map to get from the toilet to the bed. The outside Bar witch served bar food if you could not be bothered to wait for the hotel bar and restaurant [which is A] to open until 6pm. The whole place looked like it opened 6months ago however, its been going for 7 years and the do a monthly maintenance. You will love this Hotel...just go.

We never stayed at the hotel as we are quite local . The rooms do look lovely from the pics though . The food …. Was beautiful , we had a Sunday roast with a carrot and butternut squash starter which was perfect . The roast itself was impeccable, the roast beef was melt in the mouth soft and absolutely full of flavour . The roasters were lovely and even the Yorkshire pudding was delightful with a little extra flavour of which I do not know . Waiting to order the dessert but couldn’t wait to write the review 😁. Let’s hope the dessert is as good as the main and starter . The Ripasso Valpolicella was very reasonably priced and a lovely tipple . Highly recommend and will be back

My wife and I stayed in Rm 24 on Saturday 27th April We were looking forward to an overnight stay in a renowned 4 star hotel and arrived at 4pm as requested on the check-in details. A very kind gentleman on the front desk showed me to the room and I headed off to town for a 4.30 meal before a great night at the theatre. On our return we sat briefly in the saddle bar and enjoyed a leisurely pint before heading to our rooms at about midnight. On arrival our room and the bathroom were uncomfortably hot and the AC unit and control were flashing. We initially laughed as we hopped around on the very hot bathroom floor before going to bed. Sleeping quickly became a real challenge so I opened first the side windows then the patio doors and we managed fitful at best sleep from then on. Whilst I imagine this episode is far from common, I feel that if we had been given guidance on the use of the AC (we could not find any literature) on entering the room, the fault would have been apparent and resolved before our return to the hotel. As 4 star accommodation this experience was especially disappointing and the responses to our complaints were equally disappointing: We complained on checking out to the lady behind the desk. Apart from suggesting we should have contacted the overnight help she was again disappointingly unhelpful. On sending the above details to the hotel I received a very dismissive email and no attempt to acknowledge responsibility.

A beautiful hotel in a beautiful setting. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Shower was really good and powerful. Breakfast was cooked to order with a good choice on offer. A lovely cosy pub is also onsite with large tv and sky channels a beer garden just outside is set in lovely surrounds. I’d definitely recommend and would stay here again, the staff were all friendly and knowledgeable of the area.

We had a really lovely stay at the Burnside, I was very impressed. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the hotel was spotlessly clean and in very good order. We were visiting friends who live close by, so the location was great for that visit, but not so good if you wanted to walk into the town centre.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff and excellent breakfast. Room was spotless, location ideal for walking to the local historic attractions and nice quiet location for a lovely sleep. Young deer having breakfast in the woods next to the car park and added delight.

What a pleasant surprise on arrival, a warm welcome and a friendly a**osphere. although we had booked they were able to offer a choice of rooms, the ground floor suited us and on entering found it spotless and comfortable and of good size, furnishings were new and clean along with the decoration.Bedding and towels very good quality Good size shower and bathroom. a good size T.V. added to home comfort, only criticism was no USB points on sockets, remember to bring adapters Restaurant clean reasonably sized. and good food.Being a low ceiling the chairs could have had pads on to stop noise of them being dragged.Would definitely return and recommend, 10/10 V.F.M.
